This Pain Elemental in The Pit (MAP09) suddenly lost control of itself, as it started to dance like crazy to the Missy Elliott song "Lose Control". This was inspired by some meme videos of characters such as the dancing Triforce triangle. It's a pretty clever idea when it comes to the Pain Elemental in Doom II.
