At Unbound Gravel, every obstacle forces a decision: obstacle or opportunity. After an early mechanical issue left her nearly five minutes behind the lead group, Paige Onweller chose the latter. From mile 20 to mile 60, she committed to the solo chase, closing the gap, rejoining the leaders, and ultimately sprinting to a 4th place finish at the biggest gravel race in the world.
But this story of opportunity started months before Kansas in Indianapolis at the ARC wind tunnel with SILCA. Paige became the first female gravel athlete to work with SILCA in the wind tunnel and full aerodynamic testing. Through position changes, equipment tweaks, and even hair optimization, she found the marginal gains to help her close that 5-minute gap on race day.
At a muddy Unbound Gravel, those numbers mattered.
This episode of "Within the Margin of Error" series truly connects preparation with performance.

![You Like Cycling? These Movies Are Worth Seeing!
▬▬▬▬▬ Video Overview ▬▬▬▬
Looking for the best cycling movies (or maybe to add motivation while riding the trainer)?
In this video, Josh from SILCA shares a list of cycling-related films that have been recommended among the SILCA staffers. It is not a ranking and it is not meant to be exhaustive. It is simply a collection of interesting films that have come up in conversations around SILCA HQ.
Some are race documentaries, some are narrative films, some are animated, and others are closer to cycling culture than to competition. As a group, they reflect the range of cycling stories people tend to seek out this time of year, when riding often shifts indoors and many of us look for something engaging to put on while we spend time on the trainer. The variety also means there are options depending on how much time you have and what kind of mental break you’re looking for.
