These are some old clips from when Paige earned her Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title in AKC obedience. She receieved her title in February 2010. It took us 5 trials to complete since we had 2 NQs. One NQ came from her standing during an out-of-sight down stay and the other came from her sitting for a drop on recall (rules say the dog's elbows must touch the floor). She is such an amazing dog. She is so focused and I love working with her no matter what we are doing. I continue to train Paige all obedience exercises positively. If she's having fun, than so am I! We have been training for Utility since February and are preparing for show-n-gos right now! I think competitive obedience is so much fun! I love the precision in the excersices! I have the best partner I could ever ask for!!

OPEN - The second level includes more complicated exercises, which teach the dog to do a variety of tasks and to follow commands either by voice or signal. Exercises include:
Heel Free and Figure Eight
Drop on Recall
Retrieve on Flat
Retrieve Over High Jump
Broad Jump
Out-of-Sight Long Sit (3 minutes) .
Out-of-Sight Long Down (5 minutes)
