But if you really want to experience Kashmir slowly, start with Srinagar and then head to Pahalgam.
From saffron fields in Pampore and apple orchards on the way, to mornings with valley views, bonfire evenings, Wazwan dinners, and hidden gems like Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari — this side of Kashmir feels unreal.
Stayed at @radissonresortpahalgam, one of the largest and most luxurious stays in Pahalgam, surrounded by mountains and located right next to the iconic golf course.
What I loved most? The location. Most attractions were just 10–15 minutes away, so the trip felt relaxed instead of rushed.
The property itself felt like an experience — warm Kashmiri hospitality, beautiful valley views from the room, cosy heated floors, bonfire evenings, indulgent Wazwan dinners, and slow mornings with kahwa overlooking the mountains.
