A pupil of Jenö Hubay, Zentay successfully toured Europe 1910-1914. She made her American debut in 1915 and became a popular recitalist as well as an Edison recording artist (as a soloist and in duets with such artists as sopranos Frieda Hempel and Alice Verlet).
