Paddling to the Cleveland Crib has been on my list for a while. I finally found the right conditions and a paddling buddy, and we made it happen. Very cool to see the source of where Cleveland’s water supply starts. Fun fact: the 5-mile crib is actually about 3.5 miles from shore! The tunnels taking it from the crib to the Kirtland Pump Station for processing are 5 miles away.
