There always seems to be a stage in every game that just sucks. The ruin levels are exactly that. The levels are boring, the bonus stage is lame (if you're serious about getting 100% on it, you almost have to sacrifice health), and it has the hardest boss in the whole game (yes, even harder than the final boss). Not even hard in a strategic way, just hard in a throw-a-bunch-of-nearly-unavoidable-crap-at-you kind of way.
Sorry for the sub-par gameplay, but I really don't like these levels. Oh, and I forgot to unlock that stupid dog. Worry not, I'll go back and unlock him on my own time.
