The Pause "Toon" from Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures, loving restored to CD quality, using the original sample sources!
This restore comes by way of Xerxes. This is a game I have low-key wanted on the channel for a long time, now, but no one really knew anything about where the samples could be from, until Xerxes decided to revisit the game, to see if he could find anything. Lo and behold, he's been able to find some of these instruments that previously were considered rather elusive, and has offered to take on the task of restoring this game's music! Hearing these makes me more happy than it probably should, and I really hope others out there will find the same enjoyment I do from hearing these.

All of the instruments we used here are documented on the NEWER VGM Sound Sources spreadsheet! This sheet documents the sounds of many games, with series like Mario and Sonic having their own dedicated tabs. The Rules page also links to some other spreadsheets that you may find to be of interest.
