I went on a two week vacation to California with my husband and took my kindle to Sequoia National Park, the High Sierra Trail, and Yosemite National Park, where we backpacked a total of 122 miles. I ended up reading six books over the two weeks.

Part 1 is the packing, preparation, and initial travel from KY to CA.
