In this third and (possibly!) final installment of the “true odds” Hobby Numbers trilogy, I discuss a concept called “Pack dollars to pull” or “PDP” ratio as a way to compare scarcity and value of rare cards across various price / cost tiers of card sets. This is a way to quantify the difference between pulling Flair Showcase Legacies (high tier card set) vs. Upper Deck MVP Super Scripts (low tier set).
Or… Essential Credentials (high tier) vs. Skybox Thunder Super Raves (low tier). And the like…
