Karate - Babymetal Cover (Heavy/Scream Vocals w/ Guitar Solo)

A cover of "Tharbad Night" from the video game Trails Through Daybreak.
As said in all my previous Trails covers, I am completely addicted to this series with it's amazing story and fantastic music! I seriously can't recommend these games enough. There are a ton of songs I want to cover from this series, so there will definitely be more to come, and let me know if there's any you want to hear! This track in particular stood out to me so much, it's so catchy it had me hooked straight way and I knew I had to cover it!
The arrangement was fairly easy, as the original has a song structure that flows quite nicely and makes it easy to turn into a song - play each section once, and repeat it with variations and putting my own spin on things. I don't often hear metal songs where the entire track has a swing feel so that was really fun to do here! Some of the rhythm guitar parts were deceptively tricky because of it! And it was SUPER fun to play those lead sax lines on guitar, and my own feel to it and some of those semi/pinch harmonics!
In terms of mix, it's a fairly standard one - my typical rock/metal setup plus synths, strings, organ for that extra progressive feel. I'm still not happy with this mix but I think it's the best I can do without spending days on it.
Hope you enjoyed this cover because it was a blast to make!

A cover of the song "Bleak" by the band Opeth, from their album Blackwater Park.
Blackwater Park is easily one of my favourite albums of all time, from one of my favourite bands of all time, and unsurprisingly, Bleak is one of my favourite songs from the album!
I've been wanting to cover more Opeth just for fun, but also for vocal practice. While my singing nor my screams/growls can't compare in the slightest to Mikael Åkerfeldt, I think he makes a good reference for me, with his lower/baritone singing and his lower pitched growls. This is also just a really fun song to learn and play, not too difficult with some great riffs and chord progressions, fun leads to play with my Sustainiac, and as well as having that 'vibe' which is right up my alley
Finally, apologies for the lack of uploads, I've been busy with a lot stuff, and despite this not being the usual type of covers I do (i.e. video game covers), it might not be to everyone's tastes, but I still hope you enjoy this one regardless!

A cover of the song Lounge Act by the band Nirvana, from their album "Nevermind".
I've already mentioned Nirvana is my favourite band of all time, so naturally I'd want to do a Nirvana cover from time to time!
I think Lounge Act is definitely an underrated song, but the whole album is just all 10/10 songs to me!
This is one was just a quick one for the sake of practice in terms of mixing, vocals and drums. Hopefully you enjoyed this one, as it's nice to do a non-VGM cover from time to time!

A cover of "A Ghost's Pumpkin Soup" aka the Pumpkin Hill theme from the video game Sonic Adventures 2.
Possibly a controversial take, but I have a huge soft spot for some of the earlier 3D Sonic games and Sonic Adventures 2 is easily my favourite Sonic game out there! It's got some wicked music and Crush 40 is a huge part of why I got into Sonic music! Now, this isn't a Crush 40 song but the vibe of this song is just too good I knew I'd have to cover this one at some point!
I had a lot of fun arranging this one, and probably had more fun that normal recording this one, it's just so groovy! I didn't really have much planned in terms of arrangement though, other than I wanted the first half of the song to be a bit more reminiscent of the original and have the same vibe, and then bring out the djent for the 2nd half as it has been a while since I've used my 8 string! Not much else to say other than I just kept having groovy ideas for it, and managed to keep a good balance of having different instruments playing different parts without going overboard. Also, this one probably has the first guitar solo in a while that I'm super proud of! It's just the right vibe, and the right balance of melodic and flashy! Vocals wasn't too tricky as I'm slightly more used to doing these kind of rap-rock vocals, having already done a couple of covers now in this style. Also special shout out to Noble doing some backing vocals and keeping those backing vocals sounding more interesting!
Technically a week and a half too late to consider it a Halloween cover, but regardless I hope you enjoyed this one, as this one was especially fun to make!

A cover of "Misreant's Melody" from the video game Octopath Traveler 2.
It's been a while since I've done a cover, and also an Octopath cover at that, so here's my first one from the newest title!
I've been wanting to cover some Octopath 2 songs, and I think this was the first stand out track for me! It was very fitting in Osvald's chapter one, and I think it's a style I wasn't totally expecting, as it sounds pretty different from anything in the first game!
I had ideas come pretty quickly for this arrangement - like a lot of my covers of tracks in this style, I like to start of mellow and gradually had more heavier parts as it goes. I knew I definitely wanted a proggy clean riff in there. I also had a few riff ideas in mind I wanted to do, such as the clean tapping riff, some chugs, and some fun riffs that outline the interesting chords in the song. I also kept the guitars in standard tuning this time, as I wanted keep it in the original key, but 7 string guitar didn't work with the key and 8 string felt too much. But funnily enough, I think this still turned out relatively heavy given it's all on standard 6 string guitar!
This time around, I was fortunate enough to have Animalisa Keys and TripleBMusic lend their talents on this one, so massive thanks to them! Both are also big Octopath fans like myself, and thought this was the perfect cover to get both of them on, and both of their styles just fit perfectly with this song. So if you're not already familiar with their stuff, I'd definitely recommend checking out their channels down below!

A cover of "Slam Shuffle" (aka the theme from Zozo) from the video game Final Fantasy 6.
Finally got around to covering this gem of a track! Definitely another standout one for me from FF6! This town's theme was so catchy and groovy on the first listen I knew it had to be covered at some point!
The approach to this arrangement arrangement was fairly simple, as I had a few ideas I wanted to implement, such as the "un-swung" dark/moody intro, some Lamb of God styled 12/8 riffs, the call and response section in the middle, and some fun use of that rock organ sound! The mix was also an easy one by my standards as for the most part this had a standard rock/metal setup with only a little bit of keys this time, so it was a pretty smooth process!
Lastly, I have to give a special thanks to TripleBMusic for lending his talents yet again on one of my covers, contributing a super well written solo! He's also done a cover of this same song where I've also done a solo on his version (along with some other guests) so go check it out if you haven't already!

A cover of "Novel Ingress" from the video game AI The Somnium Files: Nirvana Initiative.
So this game series is incredibly underrated, and would highly recommend it to any and all fans of visual novels and detective/murder mystery style games! I initially didn't plan to cover any tracks from this series but when I finally got around to playing the sequel, I got to this part of the game, and this track just spoke to me, it's so good!
I had a few ideas to mix up this arrangement, but the original is so good, I just wanted to start off closer to the original and gradually add in my own ideas. Considering how the main clean guitar bit is made up of add9/minor9th chords, it just gave me Dream Theater vibes, particularly On The Backs of Angels, so it gave me the idea to get fun with time signatures for a clean section! I also knew I wanted to have a heavier riff which turned out really fun to play!
The mix was surprisingly easy, even though there's a fair bit going on, between the leads, rhythm, clean guitars, as well as keys all playing at once, I think the simplicity of the parts made it easier for each part to have their own space and not muddy up the mix! Splitting up the lead guitars into individual tracks helped a lot too rather than messing around with automation!
Hopefully you enjoyed this one, as it was a fun one to make!

A metal arrangement of "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey from the album "Merry Christmas".
So funny story with this cover, I actually arranged most of this a couple of years ago as this was intended to be a cover with my band Oroborus (links down below!) but obviously the whole pandemic thing kinda made that idea fizzle away. And I totally forgot about this arrangement until a couple of weeks ago, and I thought "eh screw it I'll finish it off myself!".
So this is actually probably up there as one of my least favourite songs of all time! No disrespect to Mariah Carey, but I'm really not a fan of this song, so my idea with this cover is let me ruin it my own way by making it heavy and doing all screams and distorted vocals!
There's not much to add to this one, other than I'm really happy with how the arrangement actually turned out, with the someone djenty/8 string guitar riffs and just how it grooves in 12/8! Vocals were a bit of a challenge as I'm out of practice but I think I pulled off what I wanted to do! And lastly the mix wasn't very difficult at all, the 8 string guitar really blends nicely with my Dingwall and the drums cut through just right! Hope you enjoyed my silly cover or at least got a good laugh out of this, and hopefully 2023 will be a good year!

A metal arrangement of "Killer", Yoshikage Kira's Theme from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Part 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable.
It's been a while since I've done an anime cover, and I've had this cover partially done for a year or two, so I figured I may as well finish this one off! Jojo definitely has some of the best composed music in anime and out of most TV shows in general in my opinion, so I'm always happy to keep covering stuff from this series. Let me know if there's anything else you want to hear!
The original is quite an interesting piece, as it's orchestral but not the typical "epic" sound you'd usually expect from an anime. Instead, it's very dramatic so I wanted to play that side of things up. I kept the first part of the song relatively tame, but used guitars, keys and bass to create the creepy vibes instead of the classical/orchestral instruments, as well as using some lead bass in the intro just for something unique (so special shout out to Noble for nailing that)!
The super dramatic part that has been meme'd to oblivion now, I knew that would have to be exactly where the heavy part kicks in! I kept the rhythm guitars fairly simple, outlining power chords and keeping the groove, in order to get the vibe I wanted. However I thought a bit of death metal influence would work when bringing back the particularly spooky bit from the soft section. Blast beats, tremolo picking and overuse of the whammy bar definitely ups definitely upped that initial spooky vibe into something more sinister and evil sounding, fitting of this serial killer's theme!
The mix wasn't too difficult on this one, I approached is as two separate songs, and neither parts were especially stacked like my covers usually are, so luckily that part went smoothly.
Hopefully you enjoyed this one, as I definitely had fun doing something different!

A cover of 'A Formidable Enemy' from the game Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
This game is still new at the time of recording so please no spoilers in the comments!
I haven't actually started this game yet, still working my way through XC1 but I couldn't resist covering a track already! Me and Noble figured we'd do a track while the hype for this game is still around, this track definitely stuck out to both of us, and it's insane! Not even slightly surprised no one else has covered this song yet as of the time of recording, because there's just so much going on!
In terms of arrangement, I didn't do too much other than add more guitar into it and add my style in terms of production and mix. I did definitely play around with how it's segmented, with repetitions, ending, a solo section and a funk section (which was super fun to do!).
The mix was for this was definitely a pain, with so much going on it was tricky to balance everything and make sure everything cuts through. It's also been a while since I've reached around 40 tracks on a mix!
In terms of performance, a lot of the lead parts were pretty easy actually, nothing to crazy! The real challenge was the piano in the solo, which I was adamant on learning on guitar so I could do a unison part, and that was hell! The rhythm guitar parts were also tricky but the real man on this one was Noble, as some of those bass parts were also insane, so massive props to him for nailing them! Overall it's still a crazy song, so the video might be a touch sloppy so I could get this out on time, so I hope you forgive me on that one!
And finally, special thanks to VGMJeese for transcribing and help programming those insane drum solos in the middle of the song! I was really struggling myself with those as my drumming is pretty work, and he smashed it out so quickly for me!
Hope you enjoyed this one, as it's been a while since I've tackled a challenging track like this one!

A cover of "God of the Dead", as well as including some parts from the track "The Unseen Ones" from the video game Hades.
Hades has a fantastic soundtrack, so you can definitely expect more Hades covers in the future, but for now I never thought I'd actually attempt this behemoth of a song, but here we are!
I was initially hesitant on tackling this tune, not because of it's length (though it was intimidating!) but because I wasn't sure how to put my own spin on it. I decided to make this more of a test of my abilities at production/mixing and learning those crazy leads! I also decided to change the first part of the song so it's fully acoustic, so when the heavy section kicks in, it packs a bigger punch! And to switch things up even more, I decided to improvise a solo during the final section of a song, just to experiment with something new, and I think it turned out okay!
This one was definitely a challenge, so I hope you enjoy this one!

A cover of "Escape the Dahaka" from the video game Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
This cover was another suggestion from Noble, and thanks to him we got to cover a banger of a song! While I have no experience with the Prince of Persia games, covering this track made me discover how awesome the rest of OST, so let me know if you wanna here more!
This was a relatively easy song to play, as it's mostly a riff orientated song with no lead guitar in the original. It was definitely a nice change of pace to play something more simple with a much more simple mix to fit, as opposed to the more complex stuff with dense mixes. However arranging this song was a bit tricky. The original is already metal so trying to put my own spin was a bit tricky. Hopefully my style of production makes it worth listening to, as well as adding background leads, a solo, and new riffs as variations of other parts of the song. I also had fun adding a few extra things to the mix, such as some tabla and timpani VST instruments, as well as a couple of background samples and vocals from myself, purely for some background effects kinda thing, to slightly enhance the mix a bit!
Regardless, I'm really happy with how this one turned out, as it's nice to do something different once in a while, hopefully you enjoyed this one too!

A cover of "Heated Mind" from the video game Trails Of Cold Steel II.
As said in all my previous Trails covers, I am completely addicted to this series with it's amazing story and fantastic music! I seriously can't recommend these games enough. There are a ton of songs I want to cover from this series, so there will definitely be more to come, and let me know if there's any you want to hear!
This is definitely one of my favourite tracks from the second Cold Steel game! Without spoiling, the ending of Cold Steel 1 doesn't exactly happiest of endings, and hearing this tune as the first battle theme of the next game was just perfect! A general high energy rock song as expected but with somewhat melancholic melodies, it just worked so well and helped bring out the emotions even more!
For the arrangement, I kept things relatively simple. The original has a very standard verse/pre chorus/chorus structure, so I simply repeated it, added solos and came up with variations. And considering how proggy and more complex the previous covers have been, I decided to keep this one more simple, and let loose on the guitar solos instead!
Hope you enjoy this cover, as it was a fun one to make!

A rock/metal cover of "Mt. Steel" from the video games Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team & Blue Rescue Team.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team was actually my first ever Pokémon game, and because of that I have a lot of attachment to the music in this game. I can't quite tell if it's music is criminally underrated or if it's just my nostalgia, or maybe both! Either way, I think it has some fantastic music and very interesting music that has managed to stick in my head for years despite the fact this series doesn't get covered often aside from the final dungeon themes. I believe this is the music from the third dungeon in the game, and the first dungeon with a boss battle (that Skarmory always got my anxiety up as a kid!).
This has always been one of my favourite dungeon themes in the first PMD game, and definitely sticks out to me. My music theory knowledge isn't good enough to explain why, but I think there's a lot of major 2nd and perfect 4th stuff going on which makes it kinda ambiguous in feeling to me, and just overall gives me very proggy vibes, which has clearly been up my alley since I was a young child! My approach to this cover wasn't too weird - the original is very bass driven so I kept the bass mostly the same, with some changes later one, and just coming up with riffs that work with the chord progression. As there isn't a typical melody in this song, I definitely gave the riffs more focus than usual to keep the song interesting. In terms of the mix, it was pretty straight forward, though trying to get the one slap bass part to sound good was really tricky!
Apologies for the wait as I've slowed down my upload schedule, hopefully you enjoyed this one!

Decided to tackle another classic this week from the original Metroid game! Metroid is such a fantastic series with incredible music to go with it! I first heard this version of Norfair from the Super Smash Bros. Brawl remix, and it instantly stood out to me with the creepy synths and funky beat. And then when I checked out the original, I was blown away by how much they transformed it!
So like the Smash remix, I wanted to give my attempt at completely transforming this piece. In order to not sound too 'out there', my plan for the arrangement was to slowly progress the piece from section to section. The 1st section follows the original more closely, the 2nd turns gives it more of a groove, and the 3rd section changes the harmony a bit and gives it more proggressive vibes. I also wanted to have synths on it like the Smash remix version but have my own metal spin on it. However, while I have done a lot of my own synth parts in the past, I knew I wasn't skilled enough to pull off what I had in mind. So I asked The Plant Commander to help me out as his work with synths is far better than mine, and he certainly delivered because the parts he sent were perfect! In terms of the mix, it was pretty straight forward, the synths slotted in nicely into what is a standard metal music, with some reverb. It was fun to do a heavy mix after the past few covers being on the lighter side, so I hope you enjoy this one!
Please go follow The Plant Commander, he does some great electronic music, as well as some kickass metal!

A cover of 'Dragon Roost Island' from the video game The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
It's been a while since I've done a cover of a classic VGM track, so I figured I ought to do one! Admittedly, I never got around to finishing Wind Waker, but I don't think you even need to play the game to know how legendary it is, and it's music!
This cover was made to be an entry for the Soundole Chill Out competition, and I picked this song for two reasons. It's a great song that people already know (and I wanted to do a classic cover anyway) so I thought it would be cool to put my own spin on such a song, and it's the original is already pretty mellow. Though the folk style of the original is a bit more 'epic' feeling, I thought trying out a jazz guitar style would make it feel a lot more chill. The problem there is, I'm really not well versed in jazz music! I tried my best to attempt a jazzy style with the 7th chords, swing feel and even a 5/4 section to spice things up, but I'm still not sure how much this classifies as jazz!
Special shout out to Noble for killing it on bass as always, as it was probably just as much outside his comfort zone as it was for me, and the fretless bass was an excellent choice on his part!
Hope you enjoyed this cover, as we had a lot of fun trying out different styles! Let us know if you wanna see us experiment more, and maybe with different genres!

A cover of "Dining Bar F" from the video game Trails Of Cold Steel.
As said in the previous Trails cover, I am completely addicted to this series with it's amazing story and fantastic music! I seriously can't recommend these games enough. There are a ton of songs I want to cover from this series, so there will definitely be more to come, and let me know if there's any you want to hear!
This is one of many songs I instantly fell in love with within the series, and I'm glad to see the Cold Steel games continue to make amazing music! I feel like "bar" and "tavern" themes need to be more common as I think they usually have some of the best bits of music, and the main scene where this song plays is just really cool! And not to mention, this tune is just so damn catchy!
Arrangement wise wasn't too tricky, as I had a pretty clear plan in mind. The tricky thing was actually trying to transcribe it! I'm not very well versed in jazz music, so the fancy chords were pretty difficult to work out, but I think it turned out okay! And because I had plans fore multiple solos in this song, I figured Triple B Music's style of lead guitar was perfect for this one! His expressive style works so well with this more jazzy style and he absolutely nailed it here!
Hopefully you enjoy this one, because this is definitely one of my favourites so far!

An acoustic cover of Ghost of Perdition by Opeth, of their album 'Ghost Reveries'.
Probably one of my favourite Opeth songs, I've always wanted to get around to doing this one! I thought putting an acoustic twist on this one would be a great way to make it a more unique cover. So given all that, what better guest to bring on than the incredible acoustic player and fellow Opeth fan, CRGuitar! He totally nailed his contributions to the song, fantastic playing and great vocals too!
In terms of the arrangement and mix, both were pretty easy. The song translated pretty well to acoustic already, just needed a few little changes here an there. I was also initially planning on making the cover a little shorter, but the original is just too perfect, I don't think I could!
Hope you enjoyed this cover, cos it was a blast to make!

A cover of "Ancient Makes" from the video game Trails In The Sky.
As said in the previous Trails cover, I am completely addicted to this series with it's amazing story and fantastic music! I seriously can't recommend these games enough. There are a ton of songs I want to cover from this series, so there will definitely be more to come, and let me know if there's any you want to hear!
The first Trails In The Sky game is quite chill compared to the rest of the series, in overall feel of the game, and soundtrack too. However there are a few songs and though there are more high energy tracks, there aren't too many ones I'd consider intense, but this is one of them! I fell in love with this track when I first heard it, and makes one hell of a final boss battle! I especially love how it reminds me of a Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger) or Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) track, and I'd be willing to bet the composer of this track was probably influenced by them in some way!
The arrangement itself was quite easy, the original is almost a full song but too short for my liking, so I extended and threw in some variations and a guitar solo. I also took some inspiration, blending parts of the original arrangement and the one from the remake. Luckily the mix was surprisingly easy, and everything fell into place quite nicely!
Hopefully you enjoy this cover, as it's a super fun one to play!

A rock/metal cover of 'Courtroom Lobby' (aka Defendant Lobby - So it Begins) from the video game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
The Phoenix Wright trilogy are incredible games and the music is so good! This theme in particular is very iconic yet so underrated so I took it upon myself to give it the love it deserves! It definitely nails the tense feeling right before the trials in the games!
The original theme is very short and repetitive, only 4 phrases in total. This definitely made it a fun challenge to tackle, and come up with some variations for this one. I definitely wanted to add a 'chorus' and develop the melody thing a bit more, and I knew I wanted to start and end the piece in a similar style as the original. Another thing is I've been thinking about how I've not used my 8 string in a cover for a while, and then realised this song was perfect for it! Doubling up the bass line with some 8 string definitely gives the track a really nice proggy and djenty vibe, without resorting to chugs. I then of course had to bring out my inner Dream Theater once again with a technical riff with some time signature thing going on! And only after recording it I've realised, that I think the drums and guitars are playing in different time signatures maybe? I'm not really sure!
I hope you enjoy this one, because I've been wanting to cover it for a while now and glad to have finally gotten around to it!

A cover of "Sophisticated Fight" from the video game Trails In The Sky.
As said in the previous Trails cover, I am completely addicted to this series with it's amazing story and fantastic music! I seriously can't recommend these games enough. There are a ton of songs I want to cover from this series, so there will definitely be more to come, and let me know if there's any you want to hear!
I first played the first game in the series back in December, and when I first heard this tune, it already felt nostalgic to me! I'm a lot further ahead in the series now so this tune feels a lot more nostalgic, which I think shows how amazing the composition is. The fact I feel that despite having only heard this track not too long ago. It's a standout song for many reasons, being a lot more jazz orientated for a battle theme, as opposed to a rock or metal song. And it sets the scene really nicely, as the first game is quite light hearted and relatively chill, as opposed to what's to come in future games. I definitely knew I wanted to cover it when I first heard it, it was just a matter of when!
The arrangement wasn't too tricky, I had a clear idea of what I wanted to do. The tricky thing was working out the chords and how to arrange it for guitar, since I'm not the most familiar with jazz and jazz chords, much less how to play them on guitar. The chuggy section and funk section were also parts I knew I wanted before I started arranging, especially since it's been a while since I could do something funky! In terms of mixing, I'm still really not happy with the mix, it was a really tricky one since a lot is going on and I'm experimenting with stuff too, but this was the best I can do given my weekly deadlines. I might re-mix this one at some point in the future, but for now hopefully you all won't hate it too much!
And finally, I originally had another collab planned out but it unfortunately fell through. Luckily, the amazing Shane Steward was about to pull through and do an amazing solo for me on super short notice! He perfectly nailed the solo, doing a great balance of some shred and some more expressive playing!

A cover of "Fortress of Fear Realm Boss", titled "The Dark Eternal Fortress" from the game Glover.
This song is part of the Glover cover album by GameGrooves, check out the rest of the album here! lnk.to/handtohand
So I've never heard of this game before, but when I was reached out to and asked if I wanted to make a cover for a prog rock/metal album, I couldn't say no! The song wasn't too tricky to arrange on my part, but the main thing I had to look out for was keeping the track grounded to the original. Because I wasn't very familiar with the source material I found it very easy to come up with ideas, and some were a little too out there! I definitely have fun messing around with dynamics, time signature changes and cool keyboard parts to make it truly a prog song instead of just another metal cover, and of course I had to include a Dream Theater reference in the song title (Dark Eternal Night)!
A big special thanks to GameGrooves and Ro Panuganti for organizing this whole project, and especially Ro for mixing and mastering the entire album, he did an amazing job with it!

A cover of "Destruction Impulse" from the video game Trails From Azure.
As said in the previous Trails cover, I am completely addicted to this series with it's amazing story and fantastic music! I seriously can't recommend these games enough. There are a ton of songs I want to cover from this series, so there will definitely be more to come, and let me know if there's any you want to hear!
As stated in the previous trails for me, this is a bit of a weird cover in the sense that it's from a game that hasn't been officially released for the English speaking audience. Though I am very exciting for the official release later next year (2023) and I highly recommend you check it out!
This track was definitely another stand one in the game, since hits like an absolute truck when compared to the rest of the battle themes and OST in general. I also love how the chorus straight up feels like it could be on an Avenged Sevenfold album! And without out spoiling, the battle theme very much fits the character who it first plays for!
I had a lot of difficulty trying to put my own spin on this one since it's very riff orientated, and leaves me less room to play around with chord progressions. That said, I tried my best with playing around with the order of sections, solos and a piano break. Hopefully my production style also offers enough to make it worth listening to compared to the original and either way, I hope you still enjoy the cover!

A cover of "Kaer Morhen" from the video game Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
This cover was at the request of Noble, as I've yet to get around to playing this series, he's definitely a big fan! And definitely a good shout because the Witcher series does have some amazing music!
The original is a very beautiful and mellow, so I definitely had to be careful how I approached this one. For the most part, I wanted to cover this song as it is with the metal section at the end, but I added one little twist. Tuning my guitar to DADFAE (and ADADFAE on the 7 string) in order to alter the chords into more interest, and slightly more melancholic sounding chords! And speaking of that tuning, I've hidden a subtle but very intentional Opeth reference in the song, so let me know if you notice it!
The biggest challenge with this cover was mainly approaching my heavier guitar tone. I had to use significantly less gain than usual in order to get these extended chords to come through clearly, but I didn't want to sacrifice the heaviness from using the 7 string. I think I worked out a good balance between quad tracking certain parts, as well as Noble's bass part really pulling through!
Hopefully you enjoy this cover as it was a lot of work to make!

A cover of "Heiyue Trade Company" (aka "Heiyue Trading, Ltd.) from the video game Trails From Zero.
As said in the previous Trails cover, I am completely addicted to this series with it's amazing story and fantastic music! I seriously can't recommend these games enough. There are a ton of songs I want to cover from this series, so there will definitely be more to come, and let me know if there's any you want to hear!
This is a first for me, as technically this is a cover from a game that hasn't been officially released for the English speaking audience. Though I am very exciting for the official release later this year (2022) and I highly recommend you check it out!
This is definitely a standout theme in this game so this was definitely on my list of covers from this series. The original is mainly a folky track which usually translates very well to metal, but I wanted to take this in a more proggy direction with the distorted organ and a folky intro. That said, I'm not very familiar with the Eastern folk style this based on, so for the intro I used a mixture of acoustic, clean electric and VST instruments to put my own spin on it. I also decided to put in a very obvious Dream Theater reference in the arrangement, so leave a comment if you notice it!
I had to rush this mix to get it out on time (hence the lack of keytar in this video, sorry!) but I think it turned out pretty well despite that! Hope you enjoy this cover because it was a lot of work and effort to make this one!

A cover of the song "Constant Motion" by the band Dream Theater, from their album "Systematic Chaos".
Since I ever discovered Dream Theater, one of my goals as a guitar player is to be able to play a whole song all the way through. Especially glad to do a cover of a song of the first DT album I listened to! Over the years I've learned a ton of Dream Theater riffs and parts of songs, but there's always been one or two parts that stumps me, either the solo, a super technical riff or a section that doesn't repeat and makes it difficult to remember. With this cover, I've finally completed that goal!
We actually recorded this a year and a half ago (as shown by the vocal video recorded in my old house) but semi-shelved it because I couldn't get the mix quite up to snuff, however I recently purchasd Neural DSP's Archetype Petrucci so I figured I'd give it another shot!
The rhythm parts weren't too difficult for me since I've known them for quite a while now, but the solo was definitely the most challenging one I've had to learn. A late disclaimer, this cover isn't supposed to be an exact copy of the original, but more of my take with it, such as slightly different keys (as I am no Jordan Rudess myself) and I changed the solo slightly to fit more my style, as well as not being able to pull of those crazy sweeps near the end, so I changed it to tapping.
A special thanks to Noble for absolutely killing this beast of a song, and also a massive special thanks to Robbie for chipping in with vocals on this one, as he is a far better singer than I could ever hope to be, and his voice is much more suited to DT songs than my own!
Hopefully you enjoy this cover, as it was super satisfying to finally do a Dream Theater song!

A cover of the Enforcers theme, as well as Fateful Confrontation, from the video game Trails In Sky: Second Chapter.
As said in the previous Trails cover, I am completely addicted to this series with it's amazing story and fantastic music! I seriously can't recommend these games enough.
There are a ton of songs I want to cover from this series, so there will definitely be more to come, and let me know if there's any you want to hear!
So trying to keep things spoiler free, Enforcers more or less serves as the main theme for the main enemies in the game, and Fateful Confrontation is the battle theme against said enemies. I thought it was super cool how the two tracks are related as they use the same melodies for certain parts, with some cool variations. I love both tracks so I thought it would be a good idea to combine the two into one song! Definitely a more shreddy cover which I haven't done in a while, but it was a lot of fun and a good challenge to learn the scale runs in the song. To keep things in theme with the previous Trails cover, I definitely wanted more keyboard parts to keep that proggy vibe, but these songs are darker than the previous Trails cover so I leaned more into the intensity and had the keys more as layers rather than at the front of the mix. I purposely used a lot more metal influences that I wanted to to reflect in the song, particularly those djenty chugs, the metalcore riff that's very reminiscent of "Like Light To The Flies" by Trivium, and then obviously Dream Theater with the time sig riff and the outro, that I wanted that down tempo feel like "Dark Eternal Night" and "S2N".
From a mixing point, this is also one of my favourite covers in a while, super happy with the bass tone (thanks to my Darkglass pedal!) and happy how I managed to get a pretty intense drum sound too to fit the song.
I really hope you enjoy this cover cos I had so much fun making it!

A cover of All Hail Shadow from the games Shadow The Hedgehog, as well as Sonic The Hedgehog (2006).
I know the general feelings towards both the games the song is featured in aren't exactly great, but personally, I actually love both of these 3D Sonic games! Crush 40 is definitely a band I've grown up with despite not being the biggest Sonic fan out there. They've definitely been a staple band in defining my taste in rock music, and a very important band in getting me to pay attention to video game music.
While this song is originally done by Magna Fi, I've largely based this version around the Crush 40 arrangement, as I prefer that version more!
I did have to change the key of the song to suit my vocal range, but I figure while I'm messing around with the arrangement, I'd make full use of my 7 string guitar and give it that more metal sound my covers have instead of a rock arrangement like the original.
Lastly, I know my vocals aren't great here, I can only dream of being anywhere close to the talents of Johnny Gioeli, but it was still good practice for me, and hopefully you can still enjoy the cover!

A cover of "Evolution" from the video game series Pokémon, as heard in most Pokémon games.
Just a short one today! Definitely been short on time this week, trying to sort out my new schedule to allow for weekly covers!
I whipped this one up in a couple of hours, it's such an iconic theme too that I knew I'd get around to doing it some day! It's a relatively simple arrangement, the only thing of note is that I definitely knew I had to put in blast beats somehow!
Hopefully you enjoyed this little tune today!

A cover of Fight With Assailant, from the video game Trails In Sky Second Chapter.
Having recently gotten into the Trails series, there's no way I could pass up covering a song from these games! The series is so damn good imo, I absolutely love the huge interconnected plot between games and not to mention, the music is phenomenal! I could not recommend this series enough if you're a fan of any of the above, or RPGs in general.
There are a ton of songs I want to cover from this series (and there will definitely be more to come!), but I figure I'd start slowly, with a relatively easy song with a fairly simple arrangement. This is one of the battle themes in the second game, and it's got such a catchy hook which makes it a perfect choice for a cover!
In regards to the arrangement, I kept things mostly the same but more rooted in prog, as is my style. Made more us off the distorted organ sound, an obligatory changing time signature section, and a couple of guitar solos in there for good measure! I was definitely trying to go for an old school prog rock vibe with a modern twist to it. In terms of the mix, I was actually really struggling, particularly with the lead guitar tone. For those interested in the technical details, I usually record my leads using the neck pickup on my guitar, as I find it sounds more full when playing notes high up the fretboard, and it's more forgiving when it comes to making tiny mistakes and the small inconsistencies. However, this song definitely felt better on the bridge pickup to play, which ended up coming back to bite me! All the presets I use and my general approach to mixing leads is with the neck pickup, and the different tone really threw a spanner in the works as none of it really worked.
In the end, I tried my best, hopefully it came out well, and hopefully you enjoy this cover!

A cover of Shadow's Theme, from the video game Final Fantasy VI.
Been a little while since my last FF6 cover, but the game is so damn good, and the music is definitely on par with FF7, so you can bet I'll eventually be doing more covers in the future of this game! In my opinion, Shadow is definitely one of the more interesting characters in the game, as he probably joins and leaves the most, and has a lot of very interesting backstory that's also very easy to miss out on! On top of that, I think he has one of the most recognisable themes in the game (after Terra's and Kefka's theme of course) so I couldn't really think of reasons not to cover this!
I really like the country/western vibe this theme has and wanted to keep that part of the song relatively similar to the original, but I also had a few ideas to turn it heavy! I decided to give it the same treatment I gave my Lasaria Woodland cover from Xenoblade 2 where I arranged both an acoustic and heavy section into one song! I had a slightly more coherent plan in mind for this, wanting this sound like one of Metallica's power ballads like One, Fade To Black etc, although in the end it kinda sounds nothing like them! In the acoustic section, there's also a small Opeth reference so bonus points if you can figure that one out!
I also decided to have both an acoustic solo (as well as a metal solo) just to add to the western vibe, but I was really struggling to come up with a good idea. Thankfully, DisposedHeroVGM was up for the job! As a big fan of the awesome solos he puts in his covers, as well as his acoustic covers, I decided to ask him to combine those two and he sent me the perfect solo for this song, absolutely nails what I had in mind for the song!
Massive thanks again to DisposedHero for lending his talents to this cover! Please go check him out here, as he also does some incredible VGM covers!

A cover of "Roses" from the game Friday Night Funkin'. This cover is part of the collaboration with 8-Bit Battleground.
First, I'd like to thank everyone apart of 8-Bit Battleground for having me, please checkout the rest of the covers of this track, as they're all amazing! I've not actually played FNF, but I'm quite familiar with the music as it's fairly popular within the VGM community with lots of other covers as it has some great music.
My first challenge with the song was to try and come up with a unique enough arrangement since there's already a lot of FNF covers out there and I definitely want to bring something new to the table, so purposely chose to incorporate some of styles I'm already familiar with, such as the funk part, changing time signatures, and a lot of changes in dynamics to keep it interesting. And considering FNF is a rhythm game battle kinda thing, I figured it would be fun to bring out the keytar to battle with the guitar! While my keyboard playing is pretty weak, thankfully this song wasn't too hard so it was doable, but still quite tricky for me! Finally, I figure with all the alternating keys and guitar, I figured it was worth throwing in solos for both instruments, and a bass solo in there too for good measure! Hopefully you all enjoyed this cover, and don't forget to checkout the other covers as well!

A cover of "Mayday (Feat. Ryo from Crystal Lake)" by the band Coldrain which is also the song used for the 2nd opening sequence of the anime Fire Force.
So a long time ago, the good bassist Noble showed me the band Coldrain and I very much enjoyed them. Even though my music taste these days is definitely more on the progressive side of things, I appreciate a good metalcore band when I hear one! And fast forward to a couple months ago, I decided to watch the show Fire Force (which I absolutely loved) and much to my surprise, Coldrain did the opening for it! It definitely reignited my interest in the band, and was also a great excuse to make this cover!
I decided to keep the arrangement virtually the same with this one, aside from changing the tuning from Drop A# to Drop G# in order for me to for me to actually be able to sing it. I know I'm not a great vocalist so any feedback would be much appreciated - this cover was mainly to practice my production skills and vocals. Anyway, I still hope you enjoy this cover!

A cover of "BFG Division" from the game Doom (2016 version).
Admittedly, I've never actually played Doom, though I've been meaning to! However it's almost impossible to be a fan of both heavy metal and video games and NOT be familiar with the Doom soundtrack!
This is a song that's already been covered a lot already, that's why we wanted to put our own spin on it by playing it all on bass! Everything you hear in this cover is played on bass aside from the drums and synths, but even then half of the synths are played on bass thanks to the sorcery from some of my pedals!
It was a tricky cover to arrange because of the bass gimmick, as well as how repetitive the original is, so we tried to add as much variation as possible without deviating too much from the original, as well as adding bass solos. Mixing was also a challenge due to all that low end but it wasn't as hard as the Fall Guys bass cover, since I could take a more 'djenty' approach to this one.
Finally, I apologise for the dabbing there at the end, but we couldn't not do it! Aside from that, hope you enjoy the cover!

A cover of "Champion Cynthia" (aka "Approaching The Champion") from the game Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum and it's remake, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl.
As mentioned in previous Pokemon covers, the games are without a doubt my favourites of all time and I absolutely loved the Sinnoh remakes!
This track is incredibly underrated as it is only played during a small segment of the game, but still manages to have a massive impact before facing the final challenge of the game, that is the champion Cynthia! She is the infamous champion of Sinnoh and almost universally agreed that she is the hardest champion to beat - however beating her is so much easier than trying to play her theme!
I always really enjoy playing classical pieces on guitar as it's usually a fun challenge, and seeming has the original is pretty much a classical piano piece, I thought I'd give it ago as I found the arrangement surprisingly quick and easy to come up with.
However, this is by far the hardest cover I've had to play so far! I definitely had to channel my inner 'Dream Theater' and 'Symphony X' to get the shredding down, and as big a challenge as that was, the acoustic section was so much harder! My acoustic playing is already pretty weak as I'm pretty bad at finger picking, so I was really pushing my limits to try and get this mastered. Needless to say, I don't think this one is I'll be playing for fun in the near future, and hopefully Noble will forgive me for making him play this one!
Fortunately, luck was on my side with the mix as this one was relatively easy to do, between the softer sections and the more intense sections.

A rock/metal cover of "Karmotrine Dream" from the video game Va11-Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action.
While technically this isn't a thematic winter/snow level cover people would expect for this time of year, the song itself gives me wintery vibes, and the game does actually take place over Christmas and New Year's Eve!
I played Va11-Hall-A for the first time a couple of years ago and very quickly fell in love with the game! The atmosphere of the game, the aesthetic, the story, and of course the music, all blended together to make a very charming game, and it's a shame that I don't personally know many people who have played this game. The music in this game is absolutely phenomenal then I knew I wanted to get around covering it some day, since it really invokes a certain mood, I thought it would be a fun challenge to make it metal!
The original is one of my favourite songs in the game, and while the song structure is fairly simple and repetitive, it uses some very interesting chords which completely makes this track so memorable! It was a super interesting challenge to work out how to play these chords on guitar and most of them were quite tricky, so I actually had the bass play the root and guitar playing the rest of the chord as opposed to the guitar playing the full chord which is more standard in rock music. Writing a guitar solo over these chords was also pretty tricky since there are more notes in the chord to clash with, I had to think more carefully and treat each chord as if it were an entire key change when writing it. Lastly, when I record my keyboard parts, I usually record one hand at a time since I'm a pretty poor keyboardist, but I wanted to use both hands in the video, and learning to play with both just for that was so much harder than I was expecting it to be!
I then came up with a riff for the heavier sections that outline the chords so that the feeling of the chords isn't lost, which came out a lot 'djentier' than intended, but I wanted to use the 8 string for this one since standard tuning didn't hit quite as hard as I wanted it to. And finally it wouldn't be a cover from me without some time signature changes or some polyrhythms, so I included both in the section after the solo!
I had a lot of fun with this one so I hope you enjoyed it too, because I definitely want to do more covers from this game in the future!

A rock/metal cover of 'World Is Yours' from the video game NEO: The World Ends With You.
I've mentioned in previous videos that the TWEWY games are criminally underrated and its soundtrack, and I'm so happy the original game got a sequel!
Of course I'd have to get around to doing the final boss theme from NEO:TWEWY given how many covers I've done already from the game! This one was a relatively easy cover, as the parts are pretty easy and are barely any leads. I did try to work in a guitar solo but I couldn't find a way to make it seem natural given that there are vocals for majority of the song. However the vocals were a very difficult part of the song to record, as I'm not a great vocalist, and the vocals are kind of weird in this one! A lot of the singing was quite gritty and aggressive which is up my alley, but it was just barely within in my range so I definitely struggled. And then the other vocal sections was something like aggressive rapping, so I attempted to give it a go in my own style but it was definitely a strange challenge! Either way, I hope you enjoy this cover as it was a blast to record!

A cover of "He Was A Good Stalker" from the video game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
This was a pick from Noble (who also laid down the nice bass track in this one), as truthfully I have never played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and never heard about it until he suggested this piece. Absolutely loved this track instantly with all it's interesting chords!
The original piece is performed as a solo guitar piece and it's all chords, and no real melody. This made it tricky to arrange my own cover of it, as I felt that wouldn't be appropriate to turn into a metal cover, and I wanted to come up something different to the original. We ended up still keeping it fairly simple, by adding bass, mandolin, balalaika and keyboards to it, but still sticking to chords in order to not add to much and change it completely. Hopefully this turned out interesting enough compared to the original while still capturing how beautiful the original is, and also hope you enjoy the video!

A rock/metal cover of the track 'Yaldabaoth', or 'Jaldabaoth', from the video game Persona 5 (and Persona 5 Royal).
While I actually haven't played Persona 5 due to not owning a PS4, I very much love the story and the music is just so damn good! This final boss theme is quite a weird one, since final boss themes are usually grand and epic, where as this one is lot more simple and just gritty, which really caught my ear, and I think it's an underrated track in general.
My approach for this cover was relatively simple, following the original arrangement but adding my heavier style of production, as well adding more prog metal styled riffs. I've also included 2 very intentional Dream Theater references as I thought they actually fit the song quite nicely, and 1 very small but specific FF7 reference, so definitely leave a comment if you catch any of them! This cover was definitely a super fun one to play, so I hope you enjoy the video just as much as I did making it!

A cover of the song Breed by the band Nirvana, from their album "Nevermind".
Just a quick midweek video today! So Nirvana is my favourite band of all time (surprising, considering how much I love prog music!) and I recently got a new guitar as seen in the Burenia cover - the Fender Jag-Stang which was Kurt Cobain's signature guitar!
So I figure I'd just do a quick tribute to my favourite band now that I have the right guitar for the job, and also a good excuse to practice some more simple drum parts. Hopefully we did the song justice as it was a fun one!

A cover of "Lake Theme" (aka "Lake Verity") from the game Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum and it's remake, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl.
As Pokemon is without a doubt my favourite franchise of all time, I was super hyped for the Sinnoh remakes and definitely enjoying the game so far! I'm perfectly happy covering any track from any of the games, however this one was a pick from Noble, and was an interesting challenge.
It's a very chill, almost jazzy song, using lots of interesting chords, and I didn't want to lose that vibe, however I still wanted to add some high energy metal riffs in there, so my goal with this song was to make something like Rush mixed with Periphery. I tried to keep certain parts of the song with clean guitar to keep some focus on the chill vibe, and then with the heavier parts, I came up with riffs that outlined the chords, as I didn't want to lose the sound of those extended chords. The most difficult part of the song was by far learning the crazy arpeggios! I knew it would sound good on a synth (which I also kept in there) but the stubborn part of me wanted to learn them and thought it would sound super cool on guitar, so I tried my damned best to play it! In terms of the mix, I don't think it was too difficult, the hardest bit was trying to keep the arpeggios and the melody guitars from overlapping. But hopefully I did a good job and you enjoy this cover!

A cover of the song Gehenna by the band Slipknot, from their album "All Hope Is Gone". This song is part of a charity cover album titled "Subliminal Verse: A Tribute to Joey Jordison" organised by GameGrooves.
All proceeds go towards the charities TM Awareness UK and SRNA. Both charities are to do with transverse myelitis, an illness Joey Jordison struggled with during his career.

In July 2021, the ex-drummer of Slipknot, Joey Jordison, unfortunately passed away. As he was an incredibly influential musician, with Slipknot and as well as other projects, GameGrooves decided to organise a Slipknot cover album for charity, in which I had the privilege of contributing towards with many other amazing artists who have also been influenced by Jordison. I was lucky enough to contribute two songs, "(sic)" and "Gehenna".
While (sic) is a recognisable song and a fan favourite, I basically chose Gehenna as a cover for the opposite reason. I personally think Gehenna is an incredibly underrated gem in the Slipknot discography, and it really showcases the diversity of the band's sound and style, and I also wanted to showcase a more melodic side of the band. Hopefully we did the song justice, and you enjoy our tribute to the legendary Joey Jordison.

With this cover, I wanted to keep things relatively simple. We changed the tuning to Drop A to give it a slightly heavier edge (as well as having no guitars set up in Drop B) and slightly changed some of the parts such as adding blast beats which I felt fit the song as well as honouring Jordison's love for death metal. Vocally, I know I sound nothing like Corey Taylor so I attempted to not copy him exactly and do something I'm more comfortable with, which are my fry screams. While I know I'm not a great vocalist, hopefully I did it justice, and hopefully you enjoy this cover with our tribute to the legend himself, Joey Jordison.

A rock/metal cover of "Burenia" from the video game Metroid Dread.
I've been really excited to play Metroid Dread since it's announcement, since it came out, it's had me hooked!
Metroid music is usually some of my favourite, particularly the classic tracks from the earlier games. However I found this soundtrack quite interesting; it's incredibly well designed and each track fits perfectly with each area and fight, but most tracks are very strange and too atmospheric to do justice in a cover. That said, Burenia is the most the standout area in terms of music despite being probably my least favourite area to explore, which checks out since water levels are always least fun to play but have the best music!
Given the dark and almost evil sound of Metroid music, I knew I had to make this cover super heavy, which contrasts nicely from my recent acoustic and more proggy covers!
I mostly stuck to the chord progression in the original, but had some fun with it, by adding chugs and used some dissonance to help accent some of the extended spooky chords, and added variations on the main 'riff' in the intro. One thing I did notice, was that the spooky section in the original (where it breaks away from the main idea) outlined some minor chords underneath, which I thought would be perfect for some black metal/death metal riffs and blast beats!
I had a lot of fun with this cover, coming up with tons of variations and different rhythmic ideas, so I hopefully I didn't stray too far from the original, and hope you enjoy this heavy take on the song!

I was super excited when Triple B asked me to play a keyboard solo AND guitar solo on his cover (especially not being a confident keyboard player), as I always love to collaborate with people!

A cover of "River of Life" from the video game Octopath Traveler.
Very glad I've been able to do another Octopath cover, as it's one of my favourite games that's come out in the past few years, and possibly has one of my favourite soundtracks of all time!
Admittedly, when I first heard this tune, I just thought it was a nice little piece of music that played once you arrived in Saintsbridge. However, the track definitely grew on me and I very quickly appreciated how beautiful this piece is.
I didn't want to ruin that feel of this track with heavy guitars and drums, so I decided to keep this all mostly acoustic. The song itself is actually pretty easy to play, so I decided to throw in a bunch of other instruments I don't usually get to play and help spice up the arrangement! That said, I'm primarily a bassist and guitarist, so don't just me too harshly on the rest of this!
The Octopath Traveler soundtrack is one of my favourites of all time, so expect more covers in the future, and I hope you enjoyed this cover!

A cover of "Mt. Pyre Peak" (aka "Mt. Pyre Exterior") from the game Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and it's remake, Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.
This is definitely one of my favourite tracks from any Pokémon game, and probably any game of all time. There are a few tracks from video games that got me into video game music as a whole, and this is one of them!
Because of the reasons stated above, I've always wanted to cover this track since I got into arranging video game music years ago, but always refrained from doing it due having some incredibly tricky leads, and being a weird and tricky song to arrange in general! Now that I'm a better guitarist and arranger than I was before, I figure I'd give it a shot for Halloween! It's not the spookiest piece of Pokémon music out there, but given it is still part of the spooky area and full of Ghost Pokémon, I figure it still works!
This is definitely been the hardest VGM cover I've done in a very long time, as the leads are very clearly not written for guitar, and as a result, it leads to weird shapes and sweep picking! The easiest bit of lead guitar to play in the song was actually the guitar solo I added!
The song is also very progressive in nature, due to having some weird harmonies and chord progressions, so I also decided to lean into that a bit more by adding a 5/8 riff in there, with a previous melody over the top on synths to reaffirm that it's still the same song.
In terms of the mix, it was kind of a tricky job, since the song has a very open and almost spacey feel, yet it's actually quite dense, as there's lots going on with most of the instruments playing different things. That said, I hope you enjoy this cover, because it was a lot of work!

An acoustic cover of 'Breaking Free' from the video game NEO: The World Ends With You.
I've mentioned in previous videos that the TWEWY games are criminally underrated and its soundtrack, and I'm so happy the original game got a sequel!
This is another great track from this game, that's just too catchy for me to not cover! I thought I thought I'd do something different with this song, as I thought the melodies would work really well as an acoustic song. The arrangement also lent itself really well to an acoustic cover as the song mostly consists of fairly simple chord progressions which translates easily to major/minor chords.
I also changed up the solo a bit in order to make it work on acoustic, as well as my own style in there, but I tried to keep the vibe the same so it still fits.
Finally, I would like to mentioned that I'm not a singer by any standards, but I wanted to give it a go for the sake of covering more TWEWY songs, so hopefully I did the original justice and you enjoy the video!
