A talented artist and dreamer, Quincy wants to experience high school beyond his older brother Arthur's ("Art") stories and what he's grown up watching on tv. He views it as his chance to discover who he's meant to be. His mother finally gives him that, despite her hesitancy. Quincy's excited to learn that a full-ride scholarship has become available because it means his wish doesn't have to end with high school. More than anything, he wants to travel the world, see the great wonders and works of art that have inspired him, and create something worthy of standing alongside them. Prepare for some major heartbreak!Plot (MAJOR SPOILER WARNING): It’s All Hallow’s Eve and the spirits of those who died in the Forest make an unexpected brief return to talk to the tributes. Arya and Mary-Lu catch up with some of their friends, who are pleased to see they’re a couple. One ghost, the very first person to sacrifice themselves, introduces himself as Adam and shares how the ritual between the Forest and Thornwaithe came to be (full story here: youtu.be/ScF1KIy7tK8).Meanwhile, the Forest Spirit senses someone at the wood’s edge - Maria. He refuses her offer to exchange places with Mary-Lu as he doesn’t want to break the pact. Her pleas move him, however, as she reminds him of Adam and why he gave his life in the first place. He grants her one wish, and asks what it is…Meanwhile Arya isn’t moved by Adam’s story, saying both the Forest and Thornwaithe are to blame for the senseless deaths. As the sun rises and the ghosts disappear, Thrynn is suddenly possessed by the ghost of Frost Star, the fairy Arya killed prior. She pulls out a knife and before anyone can stop her, she attacks Arya. The shock of possessing Thrynn kills him as well. Mary-Lu holds on to Arya, crying as she dies.Back at the Forest entrance, Maria urges the Spirit to consider sparing Mary-Lu as she knows she’s good at heart. But Arya’s death has broken Mary-Lu, and she vows to burn both the Forest and Thornwaithe to the ground.

Hopefully this will be the last time!Enjoy your fluff while it lasts...PLOT:Picking up right from where we left off, everyone emerges from the dragon battle seemingly unharmed. Arya comes around and an overjoyed Mary-Lu kisses her in front of the group. Looks like the cat's out of the closet.Once the tributes are out of Dragon Country, they find the Unicorn limping toward them. They debate helping it, but most of them settle on yes once it defends them from oncoming shadow monsters. Only Arya doubts the Unicorn's altruism, and convinces Mary-Lu to join her at a private campfire instead. Alone, Mary-Lu admits she's older than she actually is by a few years (stated sixteen, is really eighteen). Arya asks about going the next step, but Mary-Lu doesn't feel comfortable going that far just yet. Arya tells her it's fine (yay for respect and consent!) She also says she's going to get them both out of the Forest. For the first time, Mary-Lu has hope that they actually will. She even makes plans for them to run away from Thornwaithe together.The next day, the Unicorn leads everyone on a long trek. They reach their destination, a pretty lake, by nightfall. But Arya's suspicions prove correct: a tidal wave made up of unicorns bursts from the lake, swallowing up Nastasya and chasing away the others.Meanwhile, the villagers already believe that the young Lady Villeforte is long dead; the fact that no one is able to say her name anymore is taken as proof that she's another victim of the Forest - but someone thinks otherwise. A cloaked figure approaches the Forest with a small offering - it's Maria, and she wants to make an exchange.

MxDisney 22 | Round 6 | Pesta | TheITinFIT 2022-06-24 | Happy Pride Month! Ever since Wonderland’s story round I’ve wanted to do this. The tale is slightly altered from the original to make less “Taming of the Shrew”-ish, and more in line with Mary-Lu’s epiphany. Enjoy this wholesome break from the usual forest terror!PLOT:The gang is caught in another storm after being released from Pips' imprisonment. They find another cottage in the woods and a kind old lady invites them in. She only asks for a story from each of her guests as payment. Zahina asks her if she knows anything about "Ossian", a name Mary-Lu recalls from the strange letter she found in the Witch's room. The woman also reveals a bit more about the original deal between the Forest Spirit and Thornwaithe. Arya asks Mary-Lu to speak with her in private, but she puts her off; Pips' interrogation has caused some doubts about Arya's innocence to rise, and she doesn't want to be alone with her just yet. The old woman then approaches Mary-Lu for a tale. Mary-Lu tells her a fairytale from her childhood about "King Thrushbeard", a monarch who earned that unflattering nickname from a proud and witty princess. When the princess refuses to apologize for insulting her guests, her father marries her off to the next beggar that comes to the castle door. Her new husband moves her to a hovel overlooking the grand palace of King Thrushbeard, whom the princess regrets mocking. Now forced to make a living like everyone else, the princess sells pottery out on the streets until a nasty prince destroys them and insults her like she did her suitors. The princess' husband comforts her as she sits among the ruins of her pots, but now she must become a scullery maid in King Thrushbeard's castle. One night, the king throws a ball that she watches hidden behind a curtain. The king arrives - and it's her beggar husband all along! He admits he wanted to see if there was a humble and good heart hidden behind her sharp tongue, and they marry in splendor. Her story done, the woman asks Mary-Lu what the message is, and she comes to an important realization regarding Arya. She approaches her in the bedroom, and says she understands why she killed the fairy if she did it - and even if the knife she gave her winds up in her back next, she can't change the fact that she still loves her.
MxDisney 22 | Bonus Round | The Culprit TheITinFIT 2022-06-01 | WARNING: Blood, offscreen deathSONG: "Curses" - The Crane Wives(Reuploaded to fix error)PLOT: Mary-Lu wakes up in a prison cell, as you do. Arya is also locked up, as well as the other tributes. A guard takes Mary-Lu to the person responsible - Pips. He's royally pissed (ha) that one of his kin was found dead at his party and is convinced one of his human guests was responsible. Mary-Lu asserts her innocence, and that she doesn't have any idea who could have killed her. Then Pips brings out the knife she gave to Arya, which his guards confiscated from her. He tells Mary-Lu she's a woman who would do whatever it took to survive and tries to wheedle her into giving up her name. Mary-Lu refuses to believe Arya is a killer...but the seeds of doubt are planted. When Pips demands she give some kind of name, Arya mentally cycles through some tributes she could throw under the bus, but can't go through with it. Despite everything she's endured, she's beginning to form a conscience. She then tells Pips that Li did it, but he's already dead. Unfortunately, it's not enough to save everyone. Pips chooses to punish young Anakin ("An eye for an eye, as the saying goes.") In his final moments, Anakin confesses that he's the feared assassin known as The Executioner, and warns his fellow tributes to be careful of who they trust as nothing is what it seems; words that suddenly hit very close to home for Mary-Lu...
MxDisney 22 | Round 5 | Mirror Image TheITinFIT 2022-05-22 | Round 5 and somehow I got it up on time! No major warnings this time, just some flashing lights for lightning.PLOT:It's raining and everyone's miserable. They have no food, no weapons and no way to make a fire. While the group worries what to do, they stumble across the Lone Figure's cottage just as he's leaving. Everyone decides to sneak in and get as many goods as they can to survive. Mary-Lu wanders up to the Witch's bedroom and finds a knife Arya might like. She also reads a note from the Forest Spirit revealing some mystery details. Suddenly a green fog creeps over Mary-Lu and she falls unconscious. When she wakes up, she and everyone else discovers they have switched bodies! Mary-Lu, now as Espen, searches the study and finds the spell to switch them back. She considers staying in Espen's body, however, when she worries that Arya might not be into women. But there's one person who hasn't woken up yet and seems like he never will - Li. Remembering Li's words of advice and encouragement at Pips' party, Mary-Lu decides to stay true to herself. After everyone changes back and leaves, Mary-Lu gives Arya the knife and the two begin to discuss things...(Reuploaded to correct some minor errors)
Hiro Hamada and the Magic Kingdom Trailer TheITinFIT 2022-05-12 | This is a trailer I made for my fanfic inspired by the "Hiro Potter in 90 Seconds" video I made a long time ago. The first installment is complete, and I'm currently working on the second one. Long story short, it's a whole lotta Disney mixed with the beats of Harry Potter, but with a few twists (and legit LGBT+ rep planned down the line because we can all do better than JK at this point. MxDisney 22 | Round 4 | Sweet Dreams TheITinFIT 2022-04-23 | QUICK CONTENT WARNING: This video is for 18+ viewers only. Viewer discretion is advised. See video for specifics and timecodes to skip. I've included the mentioned triggers not for shock value or to torture the main character but because I felt they were in line with her worst fears. With the exception of one flashback, she does not actually experience these horrific events outside her own head, thank goodnessDESCRIPTION: After Pips' disastrous birthday party, everyone is dropped off at a field of flowers. Our girl, formerly known as Lucia, is distraught as she has no name and feels she has lost the only thing she has of worth. Arya, upon learning she gave up her name to save her life, tries to comfort her. As the group is overcome with drowsiness (right around the time some unusual flower petals begin blowing in the air), Arya says she'll stand watch so her friend can rest.Our lady dreams of her being married to a wealthy, handsome lord in the perfect wedding, something her mother is particularly happy about. But the dream quickly becomes a nightmare - the lord turns out to be cruel and abusive, taking what he wants from her whether she wants it or not. The dream shifts to Prudence berating her daughter for not living up to her wifely duties. She stands up to her at last, declaring that she was wrong about everything and was happier before being pressed into the aristocratic life. Prudence snaps back that she's ungrateful, and when she can't give a reason why she threw away her name, she disowns her. The girl morphs into an old beggar woman living out on the streets who is mocked by the townsfolk.The dream changes again and suddenly she's confronted by Arya, who declares she can do much better than a helpless spoiled princess like her before vanishing. Lost in the void, she hears a voice coming from her necklace, telling her she must bring together the best of her past and the hopes of her future in order to move forward. Before she can ponder the meaning of this, Maria appears and forces her to revisit the last time they played together: young Lucia kissed Maria during one of their games, and unfortunately, Prudence noticed. She ordered her to never play with her again and began training her to be a proper lady, forcing her to cut things off with Maria. Our girl breaks down and declares that she loves Maria and Arya - just as she finds herself in the middle of Thornwaithe's town square surrounded by people. Disgusted by her, they burn her at the stake, laughing as she screams for someone to come save her. Luckily, someone does. The unicorn who's been tailing the group in the woods wakes her and everyone up before the forest can claim them (though not everyone is saved). That night, our lady tells Arya she thinks she has a new name for herself: Mary-Lu.
Unfinished MxDisney Round 3 TheITinFIT 2022-04-22 | I had some big things planned for this one, but due to going through a really rough anxiety attack I lost the drive to work on it. I uploaded the unfinished version for the round but kept it unlisted until now because I'm not proud of it. Since you need to see it to understand what happens in the next round, however, here it is in all its barely edited glory.DESCRIPTION: In a flashback, we see young Lucia and her friend Maria happily playing together. They pretend they're in the fairy kingdom, but Maria warns Lucia not to give the fairies her real name since it will belong to them forever if you do. In the present, Lucia wakes up leaning on Arya's shoulder, which doesn't go unnoticed by Avery. She gives her the last apple and the two discuss their shared noble backgrounds. Avery reveals she's never lost her childlike sense of adventure, which Lucia rebuffs at first, but slowly admits that being away from her mother's control has her questioning how much she was wrong about the world and herself. Lucia and Arya bather together, and Lucia can't help but blush at her.Later, a fairy appears and spirits the group to the fairy kingdom for Prince Pips' birthday party. Pips recognizes Lucia's necklace (the one Maria gave her for protection) and declares that they have a fairy friend among them! Lucia is an honored guest, and she really enjoys the attention. At the party, Pips reveals the necklace's history and Lucia comes to appreciate her old friend. Pips also makes light of Lucia apparently being unable to keep her eyes off of Arya all night. As the night wanes on, Pips and Arya go off to...have some fun in private, which makes Lucia extremely jealous. Li notices and tells her to just have some fun before they have to return to the village and conform, which infuriates Lucia. She's not...like THAT, is she? She throws herself into the party and dances with every available fairy just to show that she's not.The next morning, everyone is brought before Pips to see his presents being gifted. The thing is, Pips expects presents from them also, and he's not happy that his guests have arrived empty-handed. Not. One. Bit. It looks like heads will roll unless he gets something nice fast. Lucia calls him out on this since, as a fairy friend, she's under the fairies' protection, but Pips says though she's safe, that doesn't mean her friends can't get hurt. Lucia offers the name of the person who gave her the necklace. Pips is impressed...but would rather have Lucia's name instead. Reflecting on how horribly she treated Maria, and determined to protect Arya, Lucia gives up the only thing she has on her - her name.
MxDisney 22: Round 2 TheITinFIT 2022-02-19 | Masks are mine, don't own anything, blah blah blah.Already shaken at seeing Finn die so suddenly, Lucia is even more horrified to find the Witch has led everyone right to the demonic Forest Spirit himself, sitting upon an ancient throne. The Spirit tells them they are there to sustain the forest, and lets the Witch claim Lass for his own. Before he leaves, he tells them to get a fire going unless they want to see how dangerous his "children" can be in the dark.Lucia is looking for branches to start her fire when Arya offers her her axe to cut some wood. Naturally, "her highness" doesn't take to it well, to Arya's amusement. Embarrassed, Lucia marches off on her own to gather kindling. She encounters some of the forest's frightening inhabitants as it grows darker. Though she's terrified, Lucia hides it by screaming that they won't take her like they did Finn or Lass. She returns to camp safely and gets her fire started but is still unnerved by what she's seen. Eager to build a fire big enough to keep the monsters away, she keeps fetching more and more wood - but carelessly neglects the blaze she has going. The fire grows out of control and threatens to burn down the campsite and everyone there, leading the furious Forest Spirit to intervene.Humiliated and believing the others have shunned her, Lucia huddles by the smoldering remains of her fire. As she falls asleep, it dies out, and she dreams one of the forest's monsters attacking her - or was it a dream? So what's she to do when her mother presses her to take part in the ritual in order to restore the family fortune and win her a husband?Name: LuciaAge: 16Skills: Knowledge of the fair folk and forest lifeNOTES:- The opening is Lucia dreaming about being in the woods, the stories she's heard and what she's been raised to believe clashing - and her fears that they're real winning out.- Prudence, Maria's mother, married someone from outside Thornwaithe and lived away from the village for a while. Her time away convinced her the ritual is little more than superstition. When her husband died shortly before Lucia was born, she decided to return to Thornwaithe.- The forest clearing where Lucia is bathing is a different one from the Forbidden Forest.- Maria is Lucia's servant and childhood friend. The two used to play pretend games about the fantastical creatures in the forest but Lucia's mother put a stop to that. It's Prudence's terrible influence that's made Lucia pretty nasty, though Maria remains loyal to her.- The pendant Maria gives her is one of the very few things Maria owns. She insists it'll protect Lucia, though Lucia thinks it's just a token.Sorry this is barely finished! As stressful as this is, I've been wanting to sue this character for something for a long time and I wanted to give it a chance.

MxDisney 21 | Round 3 | Hardworking Spirit TheITinFIT 2021-03-18 | Phew! Got worried I wouldn’t get it done in time or would get it blocked owing to the material (rhymes with Rudio Chivli) but here it is, two minutes of wholesomeness.Song: youtu.be/2xYPz7niURsPlot: Fflewder enters the next portal only to find two more waiting for him (rhymes with Schmearited Bedet and Fowl’s Proving Hassle). Erika appears, and they decide to go through the former together. (Insert cut scene of Erika teaching Fflewder to read so he can understand the tasks on his own). Now Fflewder must get a job in this strange new world if he wants to move on. Some train tickets blow into his face and he learns from a spirit what to do with them. He and Saoirse (and Victoria, who’s working as a ticket collector) ride the train together and the two bond over music, until one of his harp strings breaks. Once they arrive at their destination, Fflewder and Saoirse help a kindly old witch do household chores. Fflewder is reticent to do some spinning as he considers it “women’s work” but the witch convinces him to give it a try. As it turns out, he’s not half bad at it. The witch reveals the enchanted thread he’s spinning is unbreakable, and gives him some to restring his harp as a reward for his hard work.

Wish me luck!Song: "Get Lucky" Bardcore Cover: youtube.com/watch?v=PLuI-iTcUOIDESCRIPTION:Fflewder mentally narrates his unusual circumstances - he, and so many others, were summoned from all varying times and places to participate in a competition for the amusement of an interdimensional demon, Bill Cipher, and his cohorts. Bill announces the first game: be the first of fifteen people to find one of the triangles hidden among Gravity Falls, and move on to the next round. Failures are left behind forever. One of the monsters, Teeth, bets on him and a young singer from the early 2000s, Erika. The two team up; Fflewder leaps into the role of the chivalrous gentleman ready to protect the fair damsel, right before he's scooped up by another flirty contestant, Orwen, and needs a little help getting out. He and Erika explore the woods. Erika tries to use her cell phone, which, of course, terrifies Fflewder. To someone from the medieval era, technology and magic are virtually the same thing. Erika convinces him it's not any of Bill's evil magic, and calms him down by asking a bit about his life back at home. Soon after, they cross paths with a manotaur and must hide in a nearby cave. Erika discovers some paintings on the walls which could lead them to what they're looking for. Unfortunately, the cave is home to the manotaurs, and they're not welcoming towards intruders. Erika tells Fflewder to distract them with a tune, and for the first time, Fflewder has to improvise. He makes up a tune about his and Erika's adventures, which gives her enough time to find two triangles together. She grabs hers and vanishes, and Fflewder reaches his just as the angry manotaurs close in.Fflewder is from the oldest period of any of the contestants. Needless to say, he's got a lot of catching up to do on a number of fronts. He has to adapt to his new surroundings, ways of thinking, and how he does things in order to survive this adventure. He slowly comes around to it, and that willingness to change just might prove to his advantage...
