Urkel Makes Carl Break Character on Family Matters Fun Fact Films 2023-08-10 | Did you know the Urkel actor Jaleel White accidentally made his co-star Reginald Veljohnson break character on set? In the episode “Life in the Fast Lane” Urkel takes several of Laura’s diet pills that he thought were Vitamin C tablets, which makes him become hyperactive and erupt into a dancing frenzy. All the other actors in the scene are able to hold it together while Jaleel parades around the set until he catches Reginald off guard and makes him break up into laughter. Home Improvement Crew Caught on Camera Fun Fact Films 2023-08-03 | There were at least three times when the crew of Home Improvement were caught on camera. And the first is in the episode Groin Pains when Tim is testing out a pulley system and as he steadies himself while talking to Jill, you can see a crewman’s arm in the bottom left corner of the screen. In the episode Overactive Glance Jill is watching a recording of Tool Time, but if you look to the right you can see someone’s head moving around behind the entertainment center. This Full House Mistake Isnt Real Fun Fact Films 2023-04-05 | A popular misconception about Full House is in the episode “Air Jesse” when Jesse misses a shot and you can see a guy throw the ball back to him who many internet sources claim is a crew member that accidentally stepped into the frame. But I think this assumption is wrong because there has been at least one other instance when a crew member was caught on camera and he ducked out of sight immediately once he realized he was in the shot. So that’s why I think this guy’s appearance, whether he was a crew member or a paid extra, was intentional to simply act as a passerby who gives Jesse some “ball help” after he misses his shot.

A hidden reference to the famous line “You’ll shoot your eye out!” from the original film can be seen when Ralph tries to throw a snowball at his son Mark, but accidentally hits his daughter Julie in the eye at close range instead. At the hospital they discover Julie’s eye injury isn’t serious and she’s given an eye patch to wear while it heals for a few days, which is all very similar to the minor injury Ralphie sustained in the original film when he nearly shot his eye out with his Red Ryder BB gun.

After the mayor has his head shaved by the Grinch, his assistant grabs the clippers and shaves his own head down the middle. But if you watch in slow motion you can see his hair is yanked off before he even moves his hand. During the Grinch’s theme song we see him building his sleigh, but during one of the overhead shots if you look to the left you can see the shadow of the camera on the metal debris. In the post office, you can see a box marked “The Grinch" that has nothing in it. But later when we’re shown a close-up of the Grinch mailbox it’s filled with spider webs. When the Grinch unscrews a light bulb in the town Christmas tree, all the lights in the town go dark. But when we see the grinch’s sleigh taking off, the lights are back on again.
