As the Red Bull X-Alps was in full pelt we headed to Ozone's office in the south of France to talk with their designer, Luc Armant, and get the lowdown on the new ZeoliteXD – the ultra-light concept paraglider that four of Ozone's team pilots are flying.
Rumoured to cost over €10,000 to produce each glider because of the cost of the materials involved – Porcher Skytex 21 and another 13gsm material used on the under-surface – the glider won't be available for pilots to buy. It is instead being treated as a "flying laboratory" that will influence the design and production of future wings.
Luc also talks about the release of the Rush 6, Ozone's new 3/2-line hybrid EN B, the possibility of a two-line EN C and how the development of the Enzo 4 (CCC) is going.
