About Ozomatli
Created in 1995 in Los Angeles, Ozomatli has become known for their Latin fusion style and their activism through music. The six-piece band plays a unique, energetic mix of salsa, funk, jazz, reggae, rap, and rock.
Ozomatli has played in countries all over the world, opened for Santana on their Supernatural Tour, composed music for Happy Feet 2, and served as the house band for stand-up comedian Gabriel Iglesias’ TV show, “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand Up Revolution.” They have also released eight studio albums, including 2017’s “Non-Stop: Mexico to Jamaica.” Vital to their music is their outspoken activism: Ozomatli is passionate about issues such as farm-workers’s rights and immigration reform.
