The Ozark Trail butane camp stove model BG2247A1 series has been recalled. They have been exploding and injuring people. Take them back to Walmart or your point of purchase for a refund.
Save your butane fuel canisters as they will work in other makes/models.

*** December 4, 2025 UPDATE ***
Went to Walmart "Customer Service" today to return the recalled Ozark Trail butane stove I posted about earlier this week (still new in package BTW). They scanned it and asked for the card I used to purchase it. They said, "It's been longer than 90 days, so you can't return it or get a refund. Call the manufacturer."
I told them that both Walmart and the United States
Consumer Product Safety Commission says to bring it back to Walmart. No time limits. She pointed to the label and said, "Contact Ozark Trail."
I said, "No ... these things explode. That's why they're recalled. Just take it. Dispose of it. Forget the refund."
She said, "No. We can't do that."
So, I left Walmart with a bomb.
