I was told this trail in the Ozarks was impassable. I didnβt listen.
Sixteen channel members joined me to run a heavily damaged overland route filled with downed trees, deep water crossings, and unpredictable terrain. What started as an adventure quickly turned into carnage. A fallen tree destroyed a rooftop tent. Water crossings killed my Toyotaβs starter. Flat tires and nightfall made turning back impossible.
This trail once led us to the falls in winter, a place tied deeply to my own story. Returning here years later wasnβt just about off roading. It was about facing fear, pushing forward, and choosing to do it anyway.
