ShinyVille is an industrial themed level by Nikce which uses many different unique concepts that make the level stand out from others of its kind. The first of these is the beginning ball section, which captures the vibe of the song perfectly by using a darkly lit section. Also, a custom ball is used so that when you switch gravity, the ball bounces, which is very original. The second part also features similar unique concepts, such as the entire foreground block design rotating while the background stays the same. Aside from the unique concepts, ShinyVille does a tremendous job in encapsulating a theme - despite only using the title as a guide. Each section features a rendition of a blocky or squarish background, possibly referring to buildings as the Ville part of the name would suggest. Furthermore, the level often uses dim colors as a base to reflect the dark nature of the song and bright and colorful flashes to represent the upbeat theme the level encompasses. The only major downside that comes with this level is that some parts feel a bit dragged out. This is especially apparent in the first ball part, which takes up almost 25 seconds of the level. Overall, this level is certainly a step above the rest in originality compared to other levels of its caliber, and I cant wait to see more from Nikce.

Hello everyone, this is my first video in my series on reviewing levels. Ive wanted to review levels for a while, and I thought Youtube would be the best place for this. This first video takes three levels from the magic section and has them reviewed. This way, we can find out what is good about these levels and what can be improved. Many people ask how to get better at creating in GD. By watching this video, you may improve your creating skills in GD by seeing what others can improve on.
