Oxide Room 208 has an interesting body horror concept and some creative ideas, but the overall experience is heavily affected by technical problems. While the atmosphere and creature designs show potential, the constant issues make it difficult to fully enjoy the game from beginning to end.

The game introduces several interesting ideas, including its body horror theme, multiple playable characters, and unsettling environments. Unfortunately, the experience is held back by numerous technical problems. During my playthrough, the game repeatedly changed its rendering resolution on its own while I was recording, causing noticeable fluctuations in image quality. Combined with other technical issues and rough gameplay execution, these problems significantly impacted the overall experience. Despite having a strong concept, the lack of technical polish prevents the game from reaching its full potential. Steam users have also reported a variety of bugs and technical issues since launch.
