MARM heads back to his headed back to his favourite city for race day — the Oxford Town and Gown 10K, and this time it was his first ever run at this event.
Oxford feels like a lucky place for MARM. It’s where he previously set his half marathon PB, so returning here for another race already felt special. Add to that a fast, scenic course and an eerie atmosphere, and expectations were quietly high.
This race also marked a couple of important milestones:
• ✅ My second FULL run in the Asics Metaspeed Ray
• ✅ Only my second race back after a hamstring pull
From the historic streets of Oxford this one had everything: nerves, hope, and a proper test of where my fitness really is right now.
