If you want a sneak peek at the shiny new version of the Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS) or want to know how to use it in your AppSec practice, join members of the ASVS working group to learn about the present and future of the project!
This session will start with an introduction of where the standard is today, including its major use cases, complexity levels, and topics. We will then cover our plans for version 5.0, such as the addition of three new chapters, an overall streamlining of the document, and improvements based on community feedback.
The talk will conclude with a call to action featuring a quickstart guide to contributing.
