The OVIRS instrument (OSIRIS-REx Visible and Infrared Spectrometer) was built by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. It has an elegantly simple design (two mirrors and no moving parts) for a complex task: mapping mineral and organic material on asteroid Bennu's surface. go.nasa.gov/2asKQ4O
