Given how big Lazytown memes are right now, I hardly think I'd need to tell you that this strip is based on this super catchy earworm of a song from Lazytown:

This was ridiculously fun to put together and turned out to be just a little more complicated than the average comic dub! The funnest bit is, of course, the song - rendered with the aid of the original stems graciously provided by Mani Svavarsson, the composer of the song! He released the stems as part of a special live Facebook event celebrating the song "We Are Number One" becoming the meme sensation it has over the course of the last few weeks/months.
In a strangely sweet twist, the reason for Lazytown's sudden memetastic status was to raise awareness of Stefan Karl Stefansson, the actor for Robbie Rotten on Lazytown, and his battle with cancer. Many of the Lazytown memes link to his GoFundMe page to help with his treatment and I will also post that link here:

UPDATE August 21st 2018: Unfortunately, Stefan has passed away after a two year battle against cancer; a legend was taken from us this day. Please donate to causes looking to research and cure cancer.
