Yeah, it is time for some Overclocking / Underclocking fun with:
- My heavily modded Soyo 4SAW2 M/B (SIS 85C496).
- A few Am5x86 CPUs (These are the last 486 CPUs from AMD).
- Lots of PCI VGA cards.
Additionally this video is a mini review optimization guide on this M/B.

This machine now covers a crazy amount of performance span.
You can basically run everything form the very first IBM-XT (8088)...
games to early Pentium optimized 3D / Glide games. #486quakerace

Clarification:
The de-turbo function here probably does not actually halve the clock.
This is a complicated topic. The chip-set most likely idles the bus for 2/3 of the time.
In the end the result is very similar. I run lots of benches to verify.
In general the slow down was 20-50%. But most did exactly -50%.
