Performed with Singapore Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra (SPCO), 'Overture of the Dagger Society Suite' is one of the most widely used soundtracks in Hong Kong martial arts kung fu costume films. It is an excerpt of the songs of "Small Sword Society". In the early days, "Sword Overture" was featured in a 武侠片 《龍門客棧》better known as dragon inn, directed by 胡金銓. With bold melodies, driving rhythms, and vivid musical scenes, the piece captures the bravery, determination, and fighting spirit of the rebels.
