OKAY I KNOW I SUCK AT MAKING STORIES BUT HEAR ME OUT-
Basically there's only 3 members left at the Morte Family. Yes, that's their last name. Their family was meant to serve the angels pf death- they're the leader of reapers. Nobody knows what happened to Saiko's parents- yet. But even if he grew up without them, he's actually a good person, even if his childhood was not that colorful, he's trying his best to impress everyone.
On the age of 13, Saiko was actually stronger than the average reaper. He trained and worked hard since he was a child. Of course, his uncle, known as Death, was very proud of what he can do.
Death sent him and his best friend whom he saved in her past life, whom he cares for the most, on a "little" mission. To reap a corrupted soul. When a soul is corrupted, it turns into a monster, they're also known as urban legends that mortals "see" in the glimpse of an eye.
It turns out that this mission was way harder than it should have been. This is not an easy mission for someone in his skills. The fight was long and exhausting. Saiko needed a bit of time to breathe. The corrupted soul tried attacking him but her best friend (unnamed yet) blocked the corrupted soul. In the end, Saiko won but lost her.
Saiko then remembered her mother's last words to never trust his uncle. He suspected that his uncle was trying to get rid of him. It broke him and snapped. This was the start of Saiko's secret rebellion against him.
I genuinely hate Saiko but I keep making stories about him--
