If you're not in a hurry, you can even do this without killing a single enemy.

If you miss the jump and die, you'll need to use a Human Effigy. Here's a few ones nearby:

-1 Chest in Things Betwixt.
-1 Chest in the beginning of the Forest (collected in the video).
-1 On a corpse near the area where the Heide Knight used to be.
-1 Ledge near the area where the jump is performed.
-1 On a corpse on the Pursuer platform.
-1 In the cave where Cale can be found.
-5 Sold by Melentia.

Other notable things you can do during this run:

-Get the Fire Longsword.
-Drop down the lizzard pit and get the Firedrake Stone below.
-Engage with Benhart and Rosabeth.
-Get an Estus Shard at the Old Akelarre.
-Get the Red Tearstone Ring.
-Get the three rings in the foggy area of the Shaded Woods.
-Engage with Vengarl.
-Get the Fire Seed near Vengarl.
-Get the Homing Soulmass spell.

What you can do after following this video:

-Get the Firedrake Stone.
-Kill the Last Giant.
-Kill the Pursuer.
-Travel to the Lost Bastille and get the Dull Ember.
-Infuse it with Fire and upgrade it to +3 at McDuff.
-Become unstoppable.
