In this video, I head off in the canoe with my faithful dog Maggie for a bushcraft wild camp in my homemade canvas baker campfire tent. After paddling to our secluded riverside spot for the night, I set up camp, collect and prepare firewood, collect and purify water and settle down for the evening around the campfire. A hearty dinner of steak, chips and mushroom and a couple of my favourite hot chocolates complete the evening. Morning brings beautiful sunshine and a breakfast of bacon and eggs before packing away and heading off back down the river.
