This trip to Big Bear was all about answering two big questions:
* How fast can you set up the Overlandish Basecamp tent in the real world?
* How well does the ZeroBreeze Mark 3 portable AC keep it cool — even in the mountains?
We headed up for a quick overnight with the kids, hunting down a Yellow Post site on the north side of the lake (not easy with the south side still closed from recent fires). Temps swung from mid-80s in the day to mid-40s at night, making it the perfect test for both the Basecamp’s triple-layer insulation and the Mark 3’s 5,280 BTU cooling power.
