Check your Pi's CPU temperature - vcgencmd measure_temp

Check your pi's current CPU speed - cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_cur_freq

Here are all the overclock settings I found. I have to say the no fucks given setting made a BIG difference in games that I was getting lag in.

NOT ALL PI'S are created equal so you may not be able to use the extreme or the no fucks given overclock.


BASE Overclock 1.3ghz GPU 500mhz SDRAM 500

HIGH Overclock 1.35hz GPU 500mhz SDRAM 500

EXTREME OVERCLOCK 1.4GHZ GPU 520mhz SDRAM 520mhz

AND FINALLY WE HAVE THE NO F&$%* GIVEN OVERCLOCK
WARNING THIS WILL NOT WORK ON 99% OF THE PI 3's OUT IN THE WILD.

Some people have gotten lucky enough to get a pi with the ability to overclock this high
