JASPER SAYS: "This story starts off quirkily when an injured army major goes to stay with his fiancee's family at their ancestral home. The stage is set for a 1920s version of 'Meet The Parents'. But the family are hiding a terrible secret and keeping Major John Longworth in the dark about it only compels him to try and uncover it - with dreadful consequences. This may seem like a standard haunted house story, but the nature of the haunting tips it over into the 'weird'. Listeners may also find added poignancy from the story's setting - in the aftermath of World War I."
