OutRunners has finally arrived on MiSTer FPGA, and it may be one of the most impressive technical achievements ever seen on the platform. Released by SEGA in 1993, OutRunners took the original OutRun formula and pushed it to the extreme with larger environments, more sprites, multiple routes, branching paths, and simultaneous two-player split-screen gameplay. The core even supports the game's iconic split-screen mode.
