In this short video, we take a look at the Arcade Colour Mod for OutRun by Claudio Fortuna aka “Tor”, running it side by side with the stock Mega Drive/Genesis port.
This mod brings the Mega Drive/Genesis port closer to its arcade counterpart, restoring those blue, blue SEGA skies we love so much.
Mod details:
“This patch changes the colors of the Megadrive/Genesis port of Out Run, aiming to get as close as possible to the bright and vibrant look of the arcade version. Includes improvements on all stages, intro and secret ending. Minor changes to several tiles to improve shading.”
