Outrage Against Israeli Massacre in Gaza: Boston Stands with Palestine
#Boston4Gaza week of action continues with Tuesday 7/22 rally /march

WHEN: Tuesday, July 22, 5:30 pm (Street theater in front of State house commences at 6:30 PM)

WHERE: we will assemble at Copley Square, then march to the State House

WHAT: Bostonians will take to the streets to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to demand an end to unconditional U.S. aid to Israel, an end to the siege of Gaza, and an end to the occupation. The march will include street theater, homemade signs (including signs by children) and placards with the names and ages of Palestinians who have been killed.

WHO: Boston area students, residents, faith leaders, and activists from a coalition of organizations. Organizers are expecting a crowd of hundreds calling for an end to the violence.

WHY: People of conscience throughout the world join in mourning the deaths of all those killed in Gaza since July 8. As of Monday morning, the toll had reached 500 people killed and more than 3000 wounded, while over 135,000 have been displaced from their homes. U.S. lawmakers at every level of government must take a stand against this violence, funded by U.S. taxpayers.

We will join with thousands across the world in demanding an end to Israel's collective punishment of Palestinians. Tuesday's rally and march follows a series of local solidarity rallies including daytime rallies on Weds 7/9, Fri 7/11, and Saturday 7/19, and evening vigils on Fri 7/11 and Thurs 7/17, each of which attracted hundreds of participants. The siege of Gaza is mobilizing new cohorts of activists. Activists have pledged that as long as the violence persists, they will maintain their resistance to this aggression, and continue to place pressure on the U.S. government to end its complicity.

Photos and video will be available after the Copley Square event.
