Hosted by acclaimed poet and educator Emilie Zoey Baker, the OutLoud Slam is a vibrant celebration of young voices and original storytelling.
Think of it as the Eisteddfod of English class โ a high-energy, heart-filled showcase where school teams perform three original poems, created individually or collaboratively, across two divisions: Years 7โ9 and Years 10โ12.
This OutLoud Slam! was originally presented at The Wheeler Centre on Monday 1 September.
With special guest judges, surprise performances and fantastic prizes, OutLoud is one of the most anticipated youth poetry events of the year.
