Season 5 of Outlander is finally here! So today I'll be reacting to episode 8 of season 5! Season five follows the story of the fifth book of the Outlander book series by Diana Gabaldon. The fifth book is titled The Fiery Cross. Outlander is a tv show on the Starz network starring Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin. Episode seven, titled "Famous Last Words" is the first episode of the second half of the season. It is quickly revealed that Roger actually survived being hanged, but just barely. Even though he survived, three months later he still hasn't spoken a word and it is clear that he is suffering severely from "shell shock" also known today as PTSD. One of our favorite characters is back! Ian has returned from living with the Mohawks but it has not been revealed why yet. This was such a good episode! We'll have to see what happens in next week's episode.
