2 Summer DIY’s for your deck or patio

These summer patio projects will give your outdoor deck that little bit of glam summer glow. There’s a butterfly candle holder that works well for a citronella candle, a floating candle or just a polar candle. I wouldn’t recommend leaving these out in the weather, they are great for that hot summer night, when you want some ambient lighting in the evening.

I also made a table top fire pit, which will keep you warm if you decide to stay out into the night for that extra glass of wine.

Butterfly Candle Holder:

DT wooden Butterfly shapes - 4
Paper Butterflies in 2 sizes - 4 each
Rustoleum metallic gold spray paint: amzn.to/3cgrb5H
Adhesive Rhinestones
6” glass cylinder vase
Wire edged gold mesh ribbon (link)
E-6000
Hot Glue

Tabletop Fire Pit
Metal container (Mine was 16 x 9 x 6)
Wire edged gold mesh ribbon
2 cans DT thermoglo fuel
DT smooth river rocks (2 bags)
DT large acrylic gems (1 bag)

Please be very careful when dealing with open flames, and note that the cans get very very hot, which is why I used non-combustible materials.
