The previous video for this star by Sidney (youtu.be/qVfPysjSV_A ) combines it with 100 coins, which adds a 1:43 hour long strat to access 18 yellow coins. We can bypass this by only collecting one of these two stars.
Contrary to Sidney's video description, he did figure out a way to enter the stage in 0 A presses (youtu.be/Q4oizz14qnI ), making Colourful Coral Caverns an option for a potential 80 star route.
We might be able to conserve 16 swim speed into the second part of this stage by reactivating about 90 speed at 0:39 with a better angle. This would save another big chunk of time on all 3 stars in this area.

This run was exactly what I had hoped my first run might optimistically be: Multiple personal bests, keeping it together until the end, and a roughly 11 hour time.
I kind of had to do this since my first run had a kind of choppy recording that failed to process after uploading (maybe I closed the upload too early).
Noras Challenge is a multi-game challenge run consisting of unlocking and beating the final level in Star Revenge 0, 1.5, 2a1, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, 6.25, 5, 7, and 8.
These games form the current Star Revenge mainline, as they are the latest iterations of the integer Star Revenges, including both acts of Star Revenge 2.
Six players have previously completed the Scrubs Challenge, which consisted of Star Revenges 1-8, but without SR0 and with only one act of SR2.
Additionally, all except KingToad64 (https://youtu.be/1dX0VKuadmM ) ran on a mix of latest and original Star Revenges, rather than settling for one or the other.

Collecting all 30 stars in Marios Vacation Course (MVC) by Reonu without using a surfboard, the cannon, or pause exiting. This video is TAS.
It can be easily figured that Marios Vacation Course can be beaten without Start or L presses, as the only Start press to select a file can be replaced with an A or B press, and the only L press activates speedrun mode, which shouldnt be required for anything in this route. I find SCE more interesting, though, as it is more fast-paced.
The hardest required jump by far appears to be the triplejump wallkick at 4:18. It felt easier to gwk than wallkick there, and you need a triplejump to be able to wallkick high enough (since other moves dont bonk until youre too low to ledgegrab). I havent been able to find a different way of making this work, though there probably are harder options like 20-50 firsties in a row or maybe dying without landing in the alcove.
There are two major routing mistakes in the run: Not collecting 2 more coins in the red coin area, and leaving the star on top of the tower for the revisit. Each of these mistakes probably lose around 5 seconds.
At 1:48, I abuse the code that cancels triplejump in order to instantly turn around while keeping my speed. I could have used this trick earlier in the run as well, but I didnt know about it until I got to this point.

My favourite full kaizo star by a good margin. Every jump is fair and not too precise, but every jump contributes meaningfully to the difficulty of the star.
This makes it by far the densest list star that I have done, reaching tier 3 difficulty with only 6-7 minutes of jumps.
I could call the star a bit linear, with a clearly most efficient route, but there are tons of slower options as well.
The main thing that I noticed at the start of the grind was that I had to memorize the steepnesses of different slopes with the same texture, and know which I could stand on, which would give me steep jumps etc.
I didnt keep track of the grind length but I guess it was probably about 15-ish hours.

This lets you collect the 100 coin star before dealing with the rolling rocks, and spawn it in a convenient place (on the ground, right under Mario).")
