Shadow the Hedgehog 2 is a 2D action-platformer title that focuses on combat, risk and reward, and flow as opposed the generally high-speed antics of most Sonic games and fan games.
This showcase previews the first boss that was developed for this project, a Metal Sonic boss battle. Being styled like the Rival Battles of Sonic Adventure 2, Heroes, and 06, this fight has Metal Sonic function much like a player character. Also, it would seem Metal may have more in store if he's pushed hard enough, but what could it be?

We are currently looking for new people to join the team. The roles we have open are as follows:
Level Designers: Aid in helping create new stages, HUBs, and boss arenas for the fan game. Must be an intermediate GDevelop5 user.
Sprite Artist: Help create new sprites for characters, enemies, stages, etc. Must be able to work in the Sonic Battle, Sonic Advance Trilogy, Sonic Rush Duology, or Sonic Colors DS artstyles.
Promotional Artist: Create special artworks to help promote the game. Preferably works in Adventure/Uekawa artstyles.
Voice Actors: Voice various characters from the game in cutscenes and gameplay. Must have a good quality microphone. List of available roles are on the fan game's Discord server.
