After leak of Spanish version symbols it's now possible to fix some issues regarding graphics in Driver 2
In this video you'll find:
- Fix for widescreen mode - now objects on left and right side of the screen are drawn properly
- Twice further draw distance (rn it's glitchy and objects can pop out or cars may be forced to be low detail)
- Car detail switching on distance has been disabled
- PGXP
Of course two last improvements seriously affecting emulation performance. The best way to improve on this is to use CPU Overclock at 200% and GTE Overclock
Emulator used: RetroArch's BeetlePSX HW
NOTE: this hack is very WIP and I'm still finding out how to overcome issues on drawn objects limit and make a hack for other versions of the game (UK PAL and US NTSC 1.0 and 1.1), codes will be provided shortly after implementing these hacks for them.
