This is my rendition of Out On My Own sang from the perspective of Big Macintosh between Seasons 5 and 6. I've always wanted to sing a cover of this song, but was unsure how to tackle it. Then I started rewatching some episodes. In Brotherhooves social, audiences get a glimpse into how Big Mac been holding up now that Apple Bloom is growing up and Applejack is constantly on the road saving Equestria. He feels like he's not really needed anymore: his only role is doing chores on the farm. Before meeting Sugar Belle, I can imagine how aimless and lost he must have felt. I feel like this mimics how Apple Bloom must have felt when she originally sang this song in On Your Marks.
Tl;dr, felt like singing again. I like singing.

This year, I round out my song covers from the phenomenal Holiday themed episode of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: A Hearths Warming Tail. This time, Snowfall Frost is having an existential crisis at the hellscape she would bring about by destroying Hearths Warming Eve. Just your run-of-the-mill kids stuff.
