Set some 45,000 years ago, a group of six people are struggling to find a new home having embarked on a perilous journey across the narrow sea. Starving and desperate, they seek shelter and set out towards distant mountains, hoping to find the caves. As night falls, eerie sounds in the landscape hint at the presence of something dangerous and monstrous. As As tension unravels the group the determination of one young woman reveals the horrifying acts people resorted to in order to survive.
The film is directed by Andrew Cumming, screenplay by Ruth Greenberg, and starring Safia Oakley-Green, Kit Young, Chuku Modu, Iola Evans, Arno Lüning, and Luna Mwezi.
