Today we're closing the second season of The Sound of Cinema on a high note (literally)! John Barry's sublime score for 1985's Out of Africa earned him a well-deserved Academy Award for Best Original Score.
The main theme of the movie is played several times over different instruments and widly diverging arrangements, so I decided to make an extensive yet cohesive suite that reflected that aspect of the score.
