Our Tour Of The Key West Best Western Hibiscus Hotel - Great Property, Location, & Value!
On a February trip to Key West, Florida, we chose to stay at the Best Western Hibiscus Hotel, located at 1313 Simonton Street. The Hibiscus is just a block away from the southern end of Duval Street, and just a four minute walk to the Southernmost Point Marker. It is also just a few minutes away from the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory, the Key West Lighthouse, the Hemingway House, and South Beach. The hotel has 61 rooms, making it easy to get around, and features a nice size pool, which we really enjoyed. They serve a full breakfast every morning, which is included with your stay, but that is the only meal they offer. The Marlin Cafe food truck appears to be permanently stationed across the street at the side of the hotel, and it is a great alternative for lunch and dinner if you want to eat in your room, the breakfast area, or poolside. The Hibiscus is very reasonably priced, and although not what you'd call luxurious by any means, it is very nice, is well kept up, and has comfortable beds. We loved it, and it just might be the place for you to stay the next time you're in Key West. Thanks for watching!
