Cache Valley native Merlin Olsen was Utah State's star football player from 1959-1961. He went on to play in the NFL for 15 years for the LA Rams. He was a 14 time Pro-Bowler and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But that's not all. Merlin dabbled in acting and appeared on the beloved TV show Little House on the Prairie for 4 seasons. Now you know the USU lore!
