Six leaders from the fields of media, science, medicine and art received honorary degrees from Johns Hopkins University during 2026 Commencement exercises. Hopkins is proud to honor the following: Broadcast journalist Wolf Blitzer; acclaimed researcher Katalin Karikó; Mathematical ecologist Simon Levin; American Red Cross leader Gail McGovern; Artist Amy Sherald; and renowned cancer researcher Bert Vogelstein.
