Well, our beloved Foucault Pendulum has stopped swinging...a Houston icon for decades. So what's going on?
*FACTUAL EDIT* While Foucault demonstrated his pendulum in Paris in 1851, the World's Fair was actually at the Crystal Palace in London! Foucault demonstrated it there as well.
And the "World's Fair" in 1851 was actually called "The Great Exhibition". Later, future exhibitions would be called "World's Fair."
