Darling Downs Zoo 2026 Vlog! Join us as we visit this "infamous" Zoo for the first time, which was the location of a non fatal Lion attack in 2025. Located about 2 hours ish west from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Darling Downs Zoo is a charming, independent Zoo with a variety of Animals, including Lions, Tigers, (no Bears), Leopards, Giraffes, Monkeys, and MORE! Including Capybaras with BABY CAPYBARAS YOU CAN FEED AHHHHH
The Zoo became infamous and got into the news in 2025 after a Lady lost her arm from a Lion attack at Darling Downs Zoo. She put her hand into the cage too far while feeding and the Lion naturally had a bite! Luckily both survived the incident.
Darling Downs Zoo is located in Pilton, Queensland, Australia! 🇦🇺 About 2 hours-ish from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and 40 mins ish from Toowoomba.
