Hi everyone, I hope youre great. Sorry for my inactivity, Ive been a little bit busy and a lot of things have been going on lately. Anyways, I finally finished another animation meme and Im absolutely in love with the final result ^^
About the animation, I saw this meme a few days ago and I loved it. The first one I watched was the original meme, but the one that got me inspired was Mother Naturas video; shes so awesome and talented, you should go and check her videos ^^. I decided to use a yellow-ish coloring (overlay) with RGB to match the songs atmosphere; I also wanted to add Pluto and Charon at the end, and only Pluto (Hades) at the beginning (like in the original) because I wanted to take it into account. With Aphrodites design (Venus), I wanted to try something different xD, and I really love the result. I also enjoyed drawing the planets, specially Theia and Gaias collision. Anyways, I really hope you like it as much as I do ^^.
NOTE: I know that it is believed that Venus (Aphrodite) and Mars (Ares) had water in the past but not 4.5 billion years ago which is the time of Gaia and Theia. According to what Ive read in some papers and seen in documentaries about space, Earth and Mars had their water around 4.0 or maybe 3.8 billion years ago (I dont remember much xD), and Venus around like 2.5 billion years ago; but their oceans evaporated. With Mars was due to the loss of its magnetic field or magnetosphere, and with Venus was due to a green house effect. Despite of knowing there is a mistake, I didnt do it this way in the animation (I mean putting Venus and Mars without their oceans at the times of Gaia) because I wanted to follow the original meme (I just liked it xD).

Hi guys, I hope youre great ^^. Sorry for my inactivity but I have problems with my internet connection and when theres connection, it only lasts 1 or 2 minutes, so I cant connect that much :(. Ill be on a small hiatus because of that problem, but Ill keep editing all these days so when the connection in the zone is restored, I can upload what I did during my hiatus ^^.
CHARACTERS ROLES IN THE VIDEO
- Gabriel: a brilliant fashion designer who suffers from a personality disorder known as DID, and from depression after losing his wife; hes constantly tormented by a powerful evil spirit who wants to take possession on him and make him kill himself.
- Nathalie: Gabriels best friend and supporter. Shes always there for him.
- Mayura: An evil spirit who wants to take possession on Gabriel and make him kill himself. She was summoned by Gabriel by accident after Emilys death.
- Hawk Moth: One Gabriels alters and the strongest one. Hes a little bit hostile.
- The Collector: Gabriels passive alter.
- Adrien: A ghost who appears to Gabriel in some cases. Hes the soul of his dead son.
Emily: Gabriels dead wife, but Mayura can turn into her to trick Gabriel.
- STORYLINE: After Emilys death, Gabriel, who suffers from DID, feels guilty and depressed. Nathalie always tries to support him and be there for him, but she notices hes acting a little bit strange, more than usual. He tells her that something is trying to kill him and that he sometimes doesnt feel like himself. Nathalie, at first, thought that one of Gabriels alters was out of control so she wants to help him and tries to understand, but Gabriel pushes her away. He also sees a child who appears to him and gives him support; that child was the restless soul of his dead son Adrien, and when he died Gabriel never accepted it. He thought Adrien was still alive until he realizes Adrien was a ghost. At some point, Nathalie figures out that Gabriel used an Ouija Board to contact Emily but ended up summoning an evil and possessing spirit named Mayura and that Gabriels fears werent because of one of his alters; during an Ouija session, Gabriel gets possessed and attacks Nathalie with violence. At the end Gabriel, feeling confused after the possession, apologizes with Nathalie and finally accepted the mold he has become with the support of his best friend.
About the video, I wanted to give the VHS effect like I did in the original one because of the atmosphere; I also wanted to focus more on the paranormal side of the video, but part of Gabriels illness and depression are shown in some fragments. About the part when Gabriel hugs his son, I wanted it to be symbolic and show the acceptance of his sons death, which means, Gabriel was finally letting him rest and pass to the Afterlife once he figured out Adrien was dead and he would never leave if Gabriel continued attached to his pain. Also, I liked the idea of Mayura taking the form of Emily to trick Gabriel and make him feel comfortable with her, so she can possess him easily. I really love the way this came out ^^; I hope yo like it as much as I do :3.
