This is for the Soul Badge, and the theme of the badge is strong emotion. What I was trying to portray was something akin to... bitter nostalgia? It's kind of a twisting stomach, metallic-taste-on-your-tongue kind of bitterness when you remember certain people in your life that you dearly, dearly loved but that you know you never can or never should reconnect with. It's a feeling you compare new relationships to and then you fear that nothing will ever come close and then you just long for that lost person.
Life is Strange is really awesome for that because of the parallels between Chloe's relationship with Rachel and Max. Soooo... yeah!

Its a Magical Girl AU more based in Madoka than other magical girl rules (so trading your soul/etc. for a wish and then overwhelming despair turning you into the monsters youre fighting) with a lot of inspiration drawn from the third movie, Rebellion.
